Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the excellent performance of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, highlighting its suitability for small form factor builds and great speed. Many find it to be a great value, with efficient power consumption that leads to cooler temperatures. While the installation is generally easy, some customers have experienced slower boot times, and the lack of integrated graphics necessitates a dedicated GPU.

I decided on this CPU after deciding to jump ship from a buggy 13900kf and Asus mobo. Beyond happy with the performance so far. Plus the price was right. Have been averaging about 10-20 fps higher than my intel processor.

this chip is the best consumer-level productivity and gaming cpu out there at maximum efficiency. i run this thing with a standard dual tower air cooler and it never heats up beyond 80 degrees celsius. definitely worth the extra money over the 7800x3d if you want the best of both worlds!

Still the best cpu on the market for gaming. Out performs the highly level cpu's on almost every triple A game title thabks to the extra vcache. Ran most games pretty decently without a gpu in testing. Overclocks and undervolts extremely well. Finding one in store on the shelves instead of online was a blessing. Excellent cpu for the price point.

    A Monstrous CPU in 2024

For anyone on the fence with older AM4 cpus, its 100% worth the switch. I've been using Ryzen since the launch with a 1700x, then the 3700x and now the 7800x3d. The jump from 3700x to 7800x3d was about 35% performance increase across the board, way higher 1%s, a overall smoother experience even before hitting games that truly utilitize the 3d cache. I'm pinched with a RTX 3070, so there is A LOT of headroom to be had with this CPU for me. Easily set up in a Gigabyte X670 Aorus board, 32gb was fighting but eventually i got the CL30 6000mhz speed. Its relatively cool with A old DH-15, using the offset bracekets as well. This CPU has been a monster between gaming, rendering, blender and unreal engine usage.

Fantastic, I run it with a 7900xtx and can play any game with no issues on frame rate, BF2042 was hitting 200 to 300 FPS, no stagger or frame issues. installation and set up was easy, did a bios update and have literally no issues with it.

    Ran Away From Intel

I ran away from Intel 13th gen as fast as I could when I started to experience crashes due to their issues. I’ve always been an Intel guy, and was to ashamed to admit that AMD might finally be the top for gaming, UNTIL I tried my new 7800x3d system. I’ve been chasing smooth and stable gameplay for 3 years and no matter what I’ve done, Intel has been a stutterfest. All of my issues are gone and games are smoother than they’ve ever been! Couldn’t recommend more.

Best gaming CPU on the market right now, and cheaper than a lot of lesser performing Intel CPUs. Easy to cool, grab a Peerless Assassin for ~$30 and you're golden.

I currently own a 58003D and I purchased this for my homeboy who wanted to get a new cpu and I had to get him away from Intel! Lol he tells me all the time how much more responsive his gaming pc is now, oh and the frames on COD MW3 are insane with the 78003D. I’d highly recommend this processor or any with 3d v cache processor as it would significantly improved your 1% lows and even your fps and visual quality! Hey I Love AMD they never disappoint!

Amazing CPU. Was recommended by a friend to pick up this CPU. Extremely Satisfied. Paired it with MSI Tomahawk x670e & Corsair Vengeance Memory. Using Corsair AIO liquid cooling to keep temps low. Price matched with MicroCenter & picked one up for $380.

I've been using this cpu for about less than a year now and it has served me greatly. The price to value is great. Not only that, the motherboards that support this cpu is decently future proof as AMD plans to use AM5 for a couple more years before AM6 comes out.

Previously the best, now only 2nd best gaming CPU after the 9800x3D. If the 9800x3D is a little too expensive for you this thing does the job. Fantastic CPU. I play a lot of games that greatly benefit from a beefy CPU like World of Warcraft and Fortnite. I can max out WoW and get over 100fps in big cities. I've never been able to get performance like that before.
