AMD has become the true leader in CPUs, and this CPU is yet another winner for gaming. It easily handles the most CPU-heavy games without breaking a sweat, nearly always making the GPU the bottleneck. Installation was a breeze, requiring only a small update to my Motherboard, and with a Peerless Assassin cooler the CPU has ran quiet and cool since installation. I expect to use this CPU for years to come.

Im very impressed with the 9800x3d came from a 7800x3d and can tell the difference in task and it runs cooler to. I am very glad I upgraded.

The best CPU for gaming! Price/performance is the best with this one. Keep in mind you will need a good GPU so you won't experience any bottlenecks.

Went all out for my first PC build. This CPU is fantastic, doesn’t get too hot, and just crushes everything I throw at it.

The best gaming peformance there is right now. Definitely recommend pairing with a mid to high-end b850 or x870 motherboard, 280mm aio and above or high performance air tower cooler. It can run hot in cpu intensive games like battlefield 6 so I recommend undervolting for better thermals and OC headroom.

Not a huge difference over the 7800X3D, but runs a bit cooler for equal or better performance. Am glad I got one while I could though.

what a beast no issues solid as a rock. I'm using an aio to cool it and no issues nice and cool.

If you've never used AMD for a CPU then you are missing out! I would never pick any other CPU for my PC. This CPU is paired with an RTX 5080.

I went from a 14900k to the 9800x3d and im disappointed to say the least. My fps have gone up some in games, but the overall pc performance has gone down. It takes almost twice as long for shader compilation, i use an 8k controller to game with and the fps drop by 10-15 frames when i make inputs were as this did not happen with my old i9. Ive had to make so many tweaks to the bios and windows settings to get my pc to run better. No reviewer or tech influencer has addressed the pure agony of tweaking your bios just right to make this chip run well. I give it 3.5 out of 5 solely on the merits it does what its supposed to, it effects gaming performance positively

The performance is incredible, it runs cooler than my previous 7700X, and gets better fps paired with my 9070XT.

So far, I'm very happy with this processor. With it being locked, the fine-tuning options and what it can perform at makes me happy.

I upgraded from an older budget processor from 2019, so needless to say this was quite the upgrade. This processor handled everything I threw at it, from vivaldi with 40+ tabs, running games on 4K max settings and streaming gameplay on discord without even breaking a sweat. Buy it. You wont regret it.

Very fast speeds and performance, great for gaming. Runs a little hot so a good CPU cooler is necessary.

I was running a 4070 super with my i9-9900K and could tell my cpu was bottlenecking my gpu because my 1% lows were always dipping and causing stutters at those high frame rates @1440p resolution. Best gaming CPU out there, reasonably easy to cool. Fast and reliable.

Thus CPU will run anything at peak preformance! Runs really cool for how good it is and is super easy to install.

It been two months since I put my new computer together just in time before the madness. Best choice of getting this CPU. Old computer was Intel CPU, I'm just amazed how AMD have grown leaps and bounds so I figured it was time for me to switch but I don't know for how long lol.
