This made my gaming leveled up to a whole new level!

Had to replace my faulty Intel i9, and this works amazingly well. Strongly considering never returning to Intel after seeing the performance out of this product.

Its great. 10% boost on 1080p games a little less on 1440 and 4k games. Great gaming CPU. It does run a little hotter than 7800x3D, so make sure you set your cooling to compansate.

For gaming it's very good. But any thing need more cpu cores there's better for the price. Just makes sure you cooler has the right bracket

Currently, the best CPU for gaming. In certain CPU intensive games, it will run VERY warm to hot, so make sure you get a good cooler for it! You can run it with an undervolt so it can run cooler - check YT for the deets on that. ;-)

Great gaming CPU. Runs a little toasty but to be expected of an X3d chip. Just put a nice cooler on it and don’t worry about it. Best chip in gaming right now for the money, highly recommend.

Amazing product for gaming, fast and easy to install

It's a beast. Boosts to 5.4ghz, never goes over 60c gaming, 72c benching with a 420 AIO!

This one is a beauty. Huge upgrade from the 10850k in avg fps and lows in 1440p. Pairs really well with the 5070 ti. Runs in the mid 40s idle and under 100 watts underload. I also price matched with Mircocenter.

9800X3D, does what it says on the tin. 32GB Crucial cl38 @5400mhz B850 board 9070XT Gets 160fps max settings BF6 with no tuning, thermals are great with a 360mm rad so I'm not even going to bother. Only Con: Very picky with memory, buy your motherboard based on whatever memory is on the verified list that you can afford/obtain.

Paired with 5080 it has removed any and all CPU bottleneck from my system. Only used for games so cannot speak to multitasking.

Do not second-guess purchasing a 9800X3D. The best gaming CPU on the market. Pair with DDR5 6000MHz C30 RAM, a decent (not over priced B850 motherboard), at least a 5070ti, and no lower than 2k monitor.

Great CPU for gaming. Was undecided between this and the 9950X3D but the cost of the 9950 and the fact that the 9800X3D performed better for gaming helped me choose. Its been fantastic

Running perfectly fine. I have it set up on Auto OC and even then it is not overheating with my Hyper 212 Evo. Performance is as expected in games. No crashes have been experienced either.

Love this product. It's a really good CPU for gaming. And if you can get it on sale it makes it even more worth it

This CPU is a major step up from the Ryzen 5 which I had for years. I am able to handle everything from High Def WOW to Arc Raiders with no issues.
