Even from coming from a 5800X3D CPU, this was still a huge leap forward. The 9800X3D when paired with a capable GPU will not disappoint you. I’ve had zero issues whatsoever. Thermals are great, and this things just eats up whatever CPU intensive games you throw at it.

Great processor, been using it for over 8 months now and it works perfectly with my 5080. It lives up to the standard as the best gaming CPU on the market.

The 9800x3d was the perfect upgrade for a system thst already had am5. The extra cache is well worth it for eliminating stutters in games and overall it had been a smooth experience for me. I would recommend the amd cpu experience any day

This thing is a beast. Currently throwing everything I can at it and I am having no issues at all. Stays at cool temps when running CPU heavy games or applications. I just have a normal air cooler sitting on top of it, ez install. Replaced my old 10700k and couldn't be happier.

Great! A little high in price but delivers great stability and I have noticed better 1% lows in FPS on many of the games I’ve played. Plenty of power!

upgraded from ryzen 5 to ryzen 7, no more bottle necking

This CPU is very fast for gaming and productivity. At idle usage it runs at 38-44 degrees C But at stress level goes up to high 80s low 90s. The price was high at $479.99 too but everything is high now. Overall, a great CPU I am very satisfied with this purchase.

It was the best gaming CPU out when I ordered it and it only took two days to arrive. Too bad in that short amount of time AMD launched the 9850x3d

Purchased this to upgrade from an AM 4 5900 since the mother board that I had was reaching time to upgrade. Purchased this with an X870 TUF motherboard. Great improvements with games and I am looking forward to some video decoding and encoding now that it has the ability to do that onboard, for what I know at least. I am happy with this upgrade.

I bought this as a upgrade to a Ryzen 7 5800X3D after my AM4 mobo died. After initially looking at a 9900X which at the time of purchase was $10 less I went with this because of the more efficient V-cache. I am happy with this CPU, after tinkering with the settings and applying a -15 all core undervolt I so far have not broke the 75C mark while consistently at max boost clock of 5.25GHz.

Runs great, easy to install, runs better than the ryzen 5 i had in
