Overclocks nicely. Temps are definitely better managed than the 7800x3d.

This CPU was a gift from my fiancé and it’s been an amazing upgrade for gaming especially and for other programs allowing me to not worry about opening multiple tabs, multitasking, or having low FPS in games. Its been the best CPU I’ve ever had in awhile!

We all know these X3D processors are the BEST for gaming. This is just the latest 8 core variant. It's the best, what else do you need to know? Grab it! :)

It been two months since I put my new computer together just in time before the madness. Best choice of getting this CPU. Old computer was Intel CPU, I'm just amazed how AMD have grown leaps and bounds so I figured it was time for me to switch but I don't know for how long lol.

I upgraded from an older budget processor from 2019, so needless to say this was quite the upgrade. This processor handled everything I threw at it, from vivaldi with 40+ tabs, running games on 4K max settings and streaming gameplay on discord without even breaking a sweat. Buy it. You wont regret it.

Coming from a 7800x3d and way happier. Faster out the box on 4k gaming and best buy is great with price matching.

Was trying to buy one of these for weeks. I can only recommend the app " Hot Stock. Install on your phone and be fast in responding. They are for sale at Amazon and Bestbuy. This will be my next build for MSFS 2020. I bought my Nividia 4080 super from Bestbuy the same way last year. Good hunting, and I hope you are able to get one of these.

The 9800x3d was the perfect upgrade for a system thst already had am5. The extra cache is well worth it for eliminating stutters in games and overall it had been a smooth experience for me. I would recommend the amd cpu experience any day

Very overkill for gaming, get insane frames on like every game. I mostly play Valorant and CS2, on val and usually dont dip below 500 or so fps with a 4070ti. CS I usually don't drop below 350 fps playing on 1440x1080.

Insanely fast cpu for gaming and productivity. I installed this processor into my new gaming build and let me say, it is the fastest processor I’ve ever seen or used in any pc ever. Similarly to what you might’ve seen on YouTube this thing is a unit. Got it on sale after upgrading to 9600x. Performance in some games are very dependent on the game itself (HD2 10ish fps difference) burin CSHO my frames have increased by nearly 100 with much better 1% lows.

Had to replace my faulty Intel i9, and this works amazingly well. Strongly considering never returning to Intel after seeing the performance out of this product.

Even from coming from a 5800X3D CPU, this was still a huge leap forward. The 9800X3D when paired with a capable GPU will not disappoint you. I’ve had zero issues whatsoever. Thermals are great, and this things just eats up whatever CPU intensive games you throw at it.

Bought for gaming and it never comes anywhere close to high utilization with an rtx 3080 and then a 9070XT. Best cpu out there

Great product - Intel got some catch up to do. Lighting fast on games. Runs warm so make sure you get a good AIO.

This CPU is a beast for gaming, never have to worry about cpu bottleneck. I paired mine with an rtx 3080 ti, and Im getting every bit of juice out it. I upgraded from a ryzen 2700x and the difference is huge.
