This thing is incredible. If you are running at 4K and have a more recent CPU, this might not be that big of an upgrade until the 5090 comes out. Anything lower than that, it is completely worth it.

My previous CPU before this was an i7-8700k, and to say this is a massive upgrade is a massive understatement. This CPU has been performing so amazingly and I couldn’t possibly ask for anything better!

This thing crushes your gaming needs. I havent had issues with the product and you already know what you are getting into if you are shopping for a CPU on this high end.

It's been great, I don't know what your reason might be, but if its for games; this CPU has been amazing for me, I don't notice any of the productivity issues many other people have been mentioning either. so for me this gets a 10/10. Easily see 400+ fps on games that rely on CPU more than GPU.

Powerful CPU. The 9800x3D will not disappoint. I have it alongside with my 4070ti Super GPU and ever since I upgraded this CPU, my frames are usually maxed out to my monitor's limit of 240hz.

Great cpu for the price and being instock brought my friends gaming rig back to par... he was not ready for that christmas gift to say the least

The Ryzen 7 is a fantastic processor for both gaming and productivity. It delivers fast and smooth performance, and multitasking is no problem at all. Paired with a good GPU, it easily handles modern games at high settings while keeping temperatures under control. Installation was simple, and the performance boost compared to my old CPU is huge. Excellent value for the price!

Currently, the best CPU for gaming. In certain CPU intensive games, it will run VERY warm to hot, so make sure you get a good cooler for it! You can run it with an undervolt so it can run cooler - check YT for the deets on that. ;-)

Great CPU for gaming. Was undecided between this and the 9950X3D but the cost of the 9950 and the fact that the 9800X3D performed better for gaming helped me choose. Its been fantastic

The best gaming processor on the market hands down

Lives up to the hype for best cpu for gaming. Going from an i5 14th gen w/ ddr4 to this was a significant upgrade.

Arguably the best gaming CPU. Saw a performance increase that was a little unexpected considering that I game at 4K. Also compared to the Intel CPU I was previously using, it runs much cooler and therefore my CPU cooler fans run quieter. A pricier choice. So for many it might not always be the correct choice. If you primarily game with your PC this is as good as it gets.

Strongest CPU in the market… this will be my first AMD build and it good for gaming… hands down the best

Best cpu so far imo! I had to think which should I get ry7 7800x3d or this. But I have to go with the higher one
