The best gaming CPU out there and your only option for a high end gaming build. Well worth the money. Does require some rudimentary knowledge of bios settings to get the most out of it.

This processor is a monster for gaming!! Instantly noticed the improvement in frame rate playing Battlefield 6 coupled with my Radeon 6900 XT.

easy pickup from the store, and has ran great with the 5080 i bought, no issues in 1440p or 4k whatsoever even in the newest games

Went from getting 200-280 fps in most multiplayer games to getting 330-450 fps. I also got big improvements in dlss performance. Definitely the best cpu to buy as of April 2025!!!!!

This is the current gaming king and it performs well for me. I've had no issues whatsoever. The reported package temp idles warmer than I expected but it doesn't get too hot under load. You can easily undervolt and overclock this CPU to run a bit faster and cooler.

Oh man this thing is best bang for your buck well worth it 10/10 you gotta have this if your a pc gamer

This cpu made a huge difference in my 1% lows and overall frame rate. I used to get fluctuations when i had a 7800x3d but now its very solid and can handle much more. Quite possibly the greatest cpu ever made.

Went from an i7-12700k to this cpu and all I have to say is wow. I didn’t really think my 3090 was being bottlenecked but made a huge difference in every games so far.

Not sure what else to say that hasn't been said about this beast! Excellent piece of hardware. AMD is A+

This is a must have if you desire the best. This cou outshines anything else in gaming and the temps sit around 50-60c!

I finally upgraded from my I9-9900k and couldn't be happier or more impressed. If you're looking at this cpu, you know how awesome it is. Go for it!

Item I received works great in a MSI MAG Tomahawk X870E board; pretty much the best you can get right now. A good air cooler, such as from Thermalright or Noctua, works plenty well for this chip.

Pretty solid little chip. 5.5ghz all core 6400c26 1:1 2133fclk on a cheap X670E-F. SP 113. I was hoping for 5.6ghz but the chip I got just can't do it. 9800x3d is MUCH better than the 7800x3d. 7800x3d is boring, slow, and much worse than a 13900k/14900k. If you have Intel 12th gen/AMD 7000 series, than the 9800x3d is a solid upgrade. If you have 13900k/14900k then the 9800x3d isn't really much better in most games.

Absolutely love this CPU. It runs anything you throw at it with ease. I've paired mine with a 6900 XT and every game played runs extremely well.

Boring cpu, which is the best thing you can say about cpus. Big jump coming from a ryzen 3600. Slapped on a $40 air cooler and it stays cool under load.

This is the fastest cpu I’ve ever had. It handily keeps up with my 5090 on all my games. It doesn’t run too hot and it has more than enough grunt for multitasking.
