Plug and PLAY!!! Such an upgrade for next to nothing, the sale price was cheaper elsewhere but Best Buy Price Matched it!

I was lucky enough to purchase this CPU during a BB drop on 1/22. It was delivered on 1/26 via UPS. Installed into an Asus ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero. Cooling with a Noctua NH-D15. Crucial 64GB DDR4-3600 CL16 (BL2K32G36C16U4B). EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra. Idle temps reported in HWMonitor is @ 30C and full load is @ 67C. Cinebench R23 Multi Core score 22400.

Was originally going with 5600x but got a decent deal here so decided to jump on it so my ML side-projects can run more efficiently. I am still tinkering with OC with curve optimizer + PBO2 but the golden core is hitting 5.0ghz so as long as it stays stable after some stress-testing I won't try squeezing out the last ounces.

Jumped from a 5 3600 to this beast and I'm in love! My PC can handle editing very well and thats because of this bad boy right here! Definitely set for a while until I am ready to upgrade to the newest components.

For what I have on my PC it works really well, usually I wasn't able to play many games simply because my previous CPU couldn't take it, now I can play those games easy

Hard to really judge a CPU on its own, but combined with my new GPU I was able to run Cyberpunk 2077 at max settings

The latest and greatest AMD processor at a great value. The cpu is fast and is great for multitasking. It runs a bit hot on load but that is to be expected. No issues with this so far and on idle it stays cool around 35 degrees.

Easy installation, solid performance, reasonable price. Went in my rig about two months ago, so far so good!

Good product. Works excellent. Best Buy, has the best price. I made a mistake ordering from Amazon, they delivered an empty box. Amazon is refusing to refund. My advice to others think twice before ordering from Amazon.

wonderful cpu, thermals arent ever a worry with the 360 aio i paired it with everything is snappy and there barely any lag (none cpu caused) great performer i would buy this cpu again

Fantastic chip with perfect performance for the price point!

Works great, can't complain. Get some decent thermal paste, it does run hotter than intel CPUs I used, Plus overclocking can be tricky if you're used to intel like me. Undervolting will help with keeping the temperatures down without a performance hit, at least mine did. Definitely doesn't boost to 4.8 GHz so don't have high hopes for that.

12 cores does all I need for productivity, office work, and games. It runs cool until the boost kicks in and mine runs at 4.95 for most of the cores when it does; the only down side is my motherboard sets the cpu voltage crazy high which produces a lot of heat. It's a great cpu just be sure you've got great cooling for it too.

Granted this thing was a SUPER pain in the rear end to get my hands on, but now that I do and have it paired with a 6900XT, it runs beautifully. Its sitting under an AIO and I have 0 problems with temperature or any type of performance drop. If you can get your hands on it and have the money for it, do yourself a favor and pick one up.

Solid CPU pretty much runs anything you throw at it, i'm always a consistent triple digit fps on cpu bound games with a 5080.

I was rocking a ryzen 7 3700x for a few years. I didnt see the initial upgrade as something worth doing, boy was i wrong. Great CPU for gaming, video editting, and large workloads. Picked it up when it went on sale and i have no regrets. Highly recommended.

This was a Christmas gift for my son who gave me very specific specs. It installed easily and is a lot faster than his older model.

I’m a video editor and needed something that could handle all the editing I’ve been doing. This CPU does just that. Not to mention the huge discount it had on top of it.
