Finally upgraded from a 2700x using my x470 motherboard. Performance is night and day. Runs hot at stock settings. Using a Noctua NH D15 air cooler. I did an all core overclock at 4.65ghz at 1.2375 volts. Stays under 80c on 30 minute Cinebench r23 stress test. Idles mid 30's. Very pleased with my purchase!

Very powerful at a price that is attainable price. With a reasonable cooler it runs at less than 40C.

Fast, strong, perfect. This cpu is probably overkill for what i do, but man does it work, i even have a slight core boost with the Ryzen Master utility. Works very well with an Amd gou too so you can take advantage of the amd software tools like managing both overclocks from one program.

The is a beast of a cpu. I use it for gaming, music, production, and video editing. She can run hot, so you better have a really good cpu cooler.

Its a beast! I could have went with something with fewer cores but wanted a chip that would be a little future proof. After standing in line at best buy the only GPU I could get was a 3080ti so I didnt want to pair it with anything less. My experience was flawless with AMD and I'm back to being a fan again. If you thinking of getting a 5800X this was only, at the time, 80 more at 499. Well worth it.

Excellent CPU, used to upgrade an existing AM4 platform. CPU runs a little warm but a good solid air cooler or AIO will handle it easily. Runs anything I throw at it at max settings without breaking a sweat. If you have an existing AM4 and don’t want to do the big jump to AM5 I suggest this CPU.

It's fast and powerful. Working really good with RTX 4080 and 4k monitor.

this cpu is nuts. got it installed and fired up my computer fixed the new setting in bios and this thing is fast. i would say buy it. just as a tip cool the cpu with an AIO

I grabbed this CPU to replace a 5700 and the performance gains were awesome. It’s an excellent option for the AM4 platform offering great performance for gaming and workstation applications.

Fast .......er it is. Great for games. I play all kinds of games on the pc and came from a newer I7. This CPU rocks.

My rig just wasn't cutting it anymore so this was way more than I needed but not disappointed at all that I spent the money. My pc is what I expect of it now. Very fast.

Powerhouse CPU that gets the job done for a reasonable price

Gotta love the price drop...got this at $349.99 at me local bestbuy a few months ago. Worth every penny if you are using your PC like me, as a half/half gaming and video production PC. Currently using an RTX 3070Ti for gaming, and the GPU is going to be a potential bottleneck in the future. Safe to say there is a lot of headroom left for me to push this CPU in terms of gaming!

An amazing processor for gaming and productivity work just keep in mind this is the end of the line for the AM4 socket and ddr5 is coming soon. I had an 6700k was lacking profomance & everything . AM5 will be much better and at a much higher price point! If your gaming at 4k its going be your GPU that will limit your fps anyways for the next 4 years with an 5900x

I also have one in my workstation and the difference in compile time between it and the crappy Intel machines they buy for everyone else is night and day. I'll take a Ryzen hands down every time.

Very strong cpu, just upgrade from 3700x and this is a huge uplift for me. Its value a lot better than 5800x.

Just finished building my pc from scratch. Looked up reviews on this cpu and couldn’t pass up the pricing on Black Friday. The cpu is running the pc so smooth. High recommended pairing it with a 4070ti or 4080 gpu with a 1440p monitor. Good luck to pc building ventures!
