Finally upgraded from a 2700x using my x470 motherboard. Performance is night and day. Runs hot at stock settings. Using a Noctua NH D15 air cooler. I did an all core overclock at 4.65ghz at 1.2375 volts. Stays under 80c on 30 minute Cinebench r23 stress test. Idles mid 30's. Very pleased with my purchase!

Been roxking this for over a year. And its still a beast. Great gaming CPU. matcued with a 3080, i can play most games at 4k max settings with 60 fps.

Managed to get one of these and it is seriously quick. Probably beyond overkill for my gaming, but I do some 3d rendering so it helps there some.

Its a beast! I could have went with something with fewer cores but wanted a chip that would be a little future proof. After standing in line at best buy the only GPU I could get was a 3080ti so I didnt want to pair it with anything less. My experience was flawless with AMD and I'm back to being a fan again. If you thinking of getting a 5800X this was only, at the time, 80 more at 499. Well worth it.

This is a crazy good deal for a 12 core processor. It doesn't support DDR5, but DDR4 is plenty fast and affordable right now. I have enough cores to do run my servers and play new games at the same time without any slowdown.

this chip is honestly my favorite out of the other 2 3 series chips ive had and the prformance on it is honestly impressive

You have to get this beast! She will shread your pants and leave your wet and ready for more! Listen to her purr when she powers up and gets things hot. You have to talk to her and let her know it's okay to power up and unleash yourself!

I went with this CPU to do my first upgrade (new to PC) to a prebuilt CyberPowerPC I got from BestBuy. It was an awesome upgrade for City Building games!!!! Super easy overclocking with AMD drivers.

Just finished building my pc from scratch. Looked up reviews on this cpu and couldn’t pass up the pricing on Black Friday. The cpu is running the pc so smooth. High recommended pairing it with a 4070ti or 4080 gpu with a 1440p monitor. Good luck to pc building ventures!

I bought this one for my wife's gaming rig, and she has stopped complaining about FFXIV being so crappy slow. I also have one in my workstation and the difference in compile time between it and the crappy Intel machines they buy for everyone else is night and day. I'll take a Ryzen hands down every time.

Gotta love the price drop...got this at $349.99 at me local bestbuy a few months ago. Worth every penny if you are using your PC like me, as a half/half gaming and video production PC. Currently using an RTX 3070Ti for gaming, and the GPU is going to be a potential bottleneck in the future. Safe to say there is a lot of headroom left for me to push this CPU in terms of gaming!
