This is a crazy good deal for a 12 core processor. It doesn't support DDR5, but DDR4 is plenty fast and affordable right now. I have enough cores to do run my servers and play new games at the same time without any slowdown.

Gotta love the price drop...got this at $349.99 at me local bestbuy a few months ago. Worth every penny if you are using your PC like me, as a half/half gaming and video production PC. Currently using an RTX 3070Ti for gaming, and the GPU is going to be a potential bottleneck in the future. Safe to say there is a lot of headroom left for me to push this CPU in terms of gaming!

An amazing processor for gaming and productivity work just keep in mind this is the end of the line for the AM4 socket and ddr5 is coming soon. I had an 6700k was lacking profomance & everything . AM5 will be much better and at a much higher price point! If your gaming at 4k its going be your GPU that will limit your fps anyways for the next 4 years with an 5900x

Very strong cpu, just upgrade from 3700x and this is a huge uplift for me. Its value a lot better than 5800x.

I went with this CPU to do my first upgrade (new to PC) to a prebuilt CyberPowerPC I got from BestBuy. It was an awesome upgrade for City Building games!!!! Super easy overclocking with AMD drivers.

Solid CPU pretty much runs anything you throw at it, i'm always a consistent triple digit fps on cpu bound games with a 5080.

AMAZING CPU for gaming and productivity. The boost clocks are great if cooled properly. AIO is the only option for real performance. You can use the massive Noctura cooler but might as well get a good AIO for near the same price. As with most AMD products it it pretty picky with RAM and 3 motherboards I have tried I have has USB drop outs which appears to be widespread with AMD CPU's.

Couldn’t pass up on a great discounted CPU for paying way below MSRP! I upgraded from R5 3600 6-CORE CPU to AMD’s top 5000 series CPU’s! I was struggling playing Call Of Duty Modern Warefare on my previous build with the R5 then upgraded, now I’m having a blast with beast of a component!

Absolutely amazing paired w X570 motherboard and 6900XT. Coming from a 3900X and there's a huge difference. Benchmarks and production tasks are up 10-30% depending on the activity. There's a ton of performance at default settings and a ton of tuning and tweaking possible through BIOS. Temperatures can get scary if you don't have an appropriate cooler.

I upgraded from an older ryzen 2700x and it was a night and day difference. When paired with an RTX 2070 Super, I was getting around 60-70FPS in most games. Now im getting anywhere between 100-115fps with the new CPU! Everything is snappier now. For the price, its a solid upgrade if you dont want to go full in on 7000 seriess

this chip is honestly my favorite out of the other 2 3 series chips ive had and the prformance on it is honestly impressive

Always been an Intel user but after two failed installation attempts with new motherboard and processors, Geek Squad changed to this AMD processor. So far, outstanding performance and I couldn't be happier.

Amazed I was able to purchase one. The lack of stock on this is a shame. Performance wise, it is worth every bit of the MSRP price. Not as great of a value compared to previous Ryzens due to a lack of an included fan, but if you are going for this top level of performance you should be buying higher end fans or liquid cooling anyway.

Great processor! Upgraded my device due to my old one note being Win 11 compatible. Easy to use and is super fast.

I absolutely love this AMD Ryzen 9 CPU. Sure it may be overkill most of my tasks. But it surely does run all of my games with no problems at all. This is going in my new PC build that will hopefully last me for a long time. I would absolutely recommend this CPU to anyone looking to build themselves a new PC.

Replaced 3900x easy swap no reinstall of windows needed. Just make sure bios of board is updated. Running a 3080 12gb noticed about 10-20% fps boost in mw3 on ultimate settings on 1440p g8oled Samsung running total of 4 monitors.

Looking for a speedy processor that ypu wont have to upgrade for quite some time. Considering the price for this right now, you cant go wrong with buying one of these puppies! Grab them while you can.
