Fast multitasking cpu
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The latest and greatest AMD processor at a great value. The cpu is fast and is great for multitasking. It runs a bit hot on load but that is to be expected. No issues with this so far and on idle it stays cool around 35 degrees.

||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this processor Went from a ryzen 5 2600 to this guy, noticable upgrade. Chip runs a little hot, definitely recommend water cooling it

GG
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great, can't complain. Get some decent thermal paste, it does run hotter than intel CPUs I used, Plus overclocking can be tricky if you're used to intel like me. Undervolting will help with keeping the temperatures down without a performance hit, at least mine did. Definitely doesn't boost to 4.8 GHz so don't have high hopes for that.

Powerhouse
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.12 cores does all I need for productivity, office work, and games. It runs cool until the boost kicks in and mine runs at 4.95 for most of the cores when it does; the only down side is my motherboard sets the cpu voltage crazy high which produces a lot of heat. It's a great cpu just be sure you've got great cooling for it too.

Amazing CPU
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m a video editor and needed something that could handle all the editing I’ve been doing. This CPU does just that. Not to mention the huge discount it had on top of it.

Worth the wait in ways
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Granted this thing was a SUPER pain in the rear end to get my hands on, but now that I do and have it paired with a 6900XT, it runs beautifully. Its sitting under an AIO and I have 0 problems with temperature or any type of performance drop. If you can get your hands on it and have the money for it, do yourself a favor and pick one up.

Worth the upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was rocking a ryzen 7 3700x for a few years. I didnt see the initial upgrade as something worth doing, boy was i wrong. Great CPU for gaming, video editting, and large workloads. Picked it up when it went on sale and i have no regrets. Highly recommended.

Top Notch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the peak AM4 socket AMD CPU you can possibly get and it reflects. It is fast, it is smooth. I've thoroughly enjoyed the upgrade from the Ryzen 7 2700X CPU I had before.

Blown AWAY by the performance!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fantastic CPU and I have absolutely nothing but great things to say about it. I did get this when it was initially on sale, but it seems the price has settled to what I paid as the usual (or it's always on sale now). Yes, it's the previous generation. Yes, it uses DDR4 memory. Yes it uses the previous chipset from AMD. And? Still phenomenal! It can run a bit hot, especially if you overclock it (which I do not). That said, you should still get a beefy air cooler or a water cooler to keep things nice and cool. This is on a Gigabyte X570s motherboard with 64 GB memory. Works exceedingly well and my only complaint is that I waited so long to upgrade.

still a beast in 2025
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A super strong processor with great speed and multitasking power, and it still holds up really well today. I liked how fast it feels in gaming and productivity, but I didn’t like that it doesn’t come with a cooler and it’s not on the newest platform anymore.

Bye bye Intel
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In 2020 I built a brand new system, my first time using AMD processors. The step up from my de-lid liquid metal 7700K was huge. Performance for games and the recording studio. The processor is cool and quiet. Unless AMD turns into Intel and does nothing for 6yrs my next build in 3yrs will also be AMD.
