Best gaming processor out there right now. 12cores that are fast AF and frankly never fully utilized by whatever I ask if to do. The only downside is you might not need a processor that's quite this good.

I love Ryzen, I will never switch from it. Easy purchase and great all around CPU.

I see a night a day difference between this this cpu and last year model 3900x which only lasted me a year before it burned out, currently waiting for amd to fix or send me another 3900x. Hopefully 5900x will last me more then a year considering the price

Bought this to upgrade from 5600x while on sale. With pc games becoming more cpu bound, this was an easy upgrade as I netted over 30fps gains @ 1440p over several games including COD Warzone & F1 2021. With a good aio cooler, my temps never go above 60*C

This was a massive upgrade from my 7700k. It runs cooler than the 5800x I tried before it. Overall this is the best cpu to buy right now if you need a workstation processor. It's great for gaming but definitely overkill for just games. My whole system is more responsive too.

What can you say about the AMD Ryzen 9 5900X that has not been said before. It's a beast of a CPU. My only regret is that it does not come with a Cooler. I bought this month's back and it's still running strong.

Still can't secure a GPU so this CPU is sitting in its box... inside my empty PC case. Horrible time to build a PC – but the current generation of PC parts is epic and well-priced. Can't wait to use this bad boi.

I bought this to replace the same one that croaked, and it worked just as good. Maybe not the absolute best processor money can buy, but it held up for quite a few years.

I would recommend buying this on BestBuy. They have taken good measures to fight against bot buyers. Literally unmatched performance and value in both gaming and workstation, assuming you don't fall for scalpers.

This is really the top of the game when talking about gaming processors. Not only does this outperform the 5800x by a long shot, but paired with Corsair elite h150i water cooler, it runs 10-15 degrees cooler than the 5800x

Improved performance. My RTX 3070 is no longer bottlenecked and I have seen an improved FPS rate.

Got this to upgrade my PC to PCIe 4.0 & 12 cores. It transformed the whole rig much more than I expected & games actually run at about a 10% higher frame rate just from the CPU upgrade alone.

This CPU at this price is amazing. You can run it sub 70c with high end fan cooler and xtm 70 paste.

I got this for my friend, and he combined it with his RTX 3070. He's pulling down a good 60 FPS while playing Control, which is ideal. It doesn't come with a cooler, so you can choose whatever AIO or tower cooler solution you want.

Upgraded from a Ryzen 3 3600G, and this CPU has cleared up all the backlog running games (Radeon 6600 GPU). I used to run 15 fps on low settings, now I get 60 fps on ultra. Definitely a good pair with my GPU.

Great performance, great thermals. Although I'm not doing any overclocking right now, this handles any processes I through at it. A bit overkill if you are just gaming, so I wouldn't worry about trying to find one of these in stock if that is all you are doing.
