I got this for my friend, and he combined it with his RTX 3070. He's pulling down a good 60 FPS while playing Control, which is ideal. It doesn't come with a cooler, so you can choose whatever AIO or tower cooler solution you want.

This is a fantastic CPU, even now after being superceded in performance by some more recent Intel CPUs. If you do any sort of multi threaded workloads, this is definitely worth considering for purchase.

Great performance, great thermals. Although I'm not doing any overclocking right now, this handles any processes I through at it. A bit overkill if you are just gaming, so I wouldn't worry about trying to find one of these in stock if that is all you are doing.

Fast, lot of cores. Not the latest generation but it gets the job done without breaking the bank

Excellent product. Powers through workloads, handles games well, multitasks like a champ. Here's to hoping the next gen 3d stacked ships aren't leaps and bounds ahead because that's the only thing that would make me regret this purchase.

I've had this processor for over a year now and it has served me very well. Applications open and load very quickly and gaming performance has been phenomenal. I can still happily recommend this great processor from AMD.

This CPU is still blowing my mind! Gaming and demanding Unreal Engine projects are a piece of cake for this thing. On sale, this is an incredible deal.

Fantastic CPU. Several cores would boost to just over 4.9 GHz, and it stays relatively cool under a water cooling loop.

Awsome processor. Pair it up with Samsung B die DDR 4 and it will game with the best when paired with any of the sub $800 GPUs

Great CPU. I have had no issues with this product. I get better performance in games and multithreaded workloads. I am coming from an 8700k which was a good cpu but I started noticing some stutters and lag. This is all gone with this processor and platform.

Runs great, not manual overclocking. PBO set and reaches 4.950 ghz on a few cores which is pretty great. I have the EK 360 aio on it, keeps it around mid 60s while gaming, randomly goes up to low 70s while idle (just for a few seconds).

Great CPU for gaming and productivity. Temps are kept reasonably low even by a good quality air cooler.

This processor is a BEAST! Needed a new CPU for my photo edits and this thing gets the job done with flying colors

Great speeds, Great price for this capability. haven't had an issue with it running hot, have a really good CPU cooler. Shouldn't need an upgrade at any point in the future.

I bought this CPU because I work with virtual machines. It has never passed 60c under load, although I water cool, so your mileage will vary. My 3090 isn't water cooled yet, but when it is this CPU will be hotter. Overall it is fast, powerful, and cool.

This thing can gooooo. Glad I upgraded to it. The extra cores realy help when multy tasking
