Lots of cores for computational tasks. Runs great so far. Remember there's no heat sink supplied. I always get a custom heat sink anyway. So, I'm happy they didn't waste money on a heat sink I would throw out anyway.

It’s the perfect processor for a game and work station. This thing gets hot due to it’s 12 cores, so get adequate cooling. Next time I will upgrade when next gen hardware is coming out because you can find many things things on sale. For example, this processor is currently $200 off. 3080Ti are $300 off. You get the point. Anyways, should be good for the next four years.

If you're just gaming, the 5600x is more than enough. If you do other thing like streaming, encoding, etc, this is great. The 5950 would do it better but it's a lot more expensive.

Upgraded my setup and with the 5900x it runs super smooth, only downside is this cpu like to get really hot so I recommend using a beefy cooler

AMD really did live up to the hype with this CPU.
