One of AMD's best CPU's ever

It was too expensive at $500-$550, but with recent price drops to $400-$450 it's a great option, particularly if you already own an AM4 based system.

Awesome upgrade

Upgraded from a 2600 to a 5600G, now to this beast the 5900X. Now just waiting on Video card prices to come down.

Great bang for your buck

I don't have the best GPU (rtx 3060) but I wanted a cpu good enough to be able to upgrade my GPU in a few years. The 5900x does not disappoint

It's a perfect pair to my 3080! I regularly reach speeds upwards of 4900Mhz(single core) and can maintain 4500Mhz(all cores). Very satisfied.

Good price for cpu - Streams high VR frame rates

OBS is very cpu intensive and having the ability to limit OBS to 6 cores and half life alyx to the other 6 cores allows for excellent recording and streaming performance.
