Initially, I 'settled' for this processor since the 7950 was simply not in stock, anywhwere, at the time I desired to dive into a new build. I was not disappointed! I even feel that it's the better choice!

Good price. Disappointed the AM5 socket cant run faster speeds without being overclocked.

This is an amazing CPU so fast! Doesnt even slow down at all when o throw everything at it!

Well....I hate to say this, however not only did I have a board that didn't boot, my new MB is giving me a CPU error code....I was really looking forward to the 7900x since I've been using AMD for almost 6 years now. The process to file a warranty claim is long and if you are having problems with AMDs site just clear your cookies cache. Hopefully I'll be able to RMA my CPU but so far not having a good time.

The processor is not bad but for the same price you can get something better

I have to say it is a upgrade from what i had before and that was the Ryzen 5 and was pretty easy to seat. Wanted to also give a shoutout to the employees that helped me with the purchase.

Is this processor good for music production as well? I would like to do gaming and music, as well as some video editing. But eventually ill get a dual pc set up for that.
