This processor does exactly as the reviews claim. Great for productivity but it is not for gaming. The processor costs too much and does hurt your wallet. At $800 it is very pricey and if you want a flagship you will have to accept this fact. For more on this i advise watching gamersnexus review on this before purchasing it. Its a grest cpu but terrible value.

Be aware it runs hot. Only first eight cores clock up to 5.7 GHz. At the right price is awesome.

Im certain it would have been awesome but unfortunately it wasn't compatible with the motherboard we had in our computer. Ironically the worker knew which conputer we had as i brought up the specs and she said it would work and it didn't. Some better employees with actual knowledge would be great or her saying im not sure i will find out would have been better.

Good CPU til it fried itself overnight had it only for a few months

Used for gaming and a virtual environments, this processor worked great with everything thrown at it. This processor smoked almost all others when testing in 3D Mark. The guy talking about getting blue screens, sounds more like a problem with his builds to me.

Less bugs than my 5950x. Overall AMD has gotten better at releasing CPUs in a working state. Setting up PBO is super important otherwise you run into the chip being super hot since they made the metal plate a lot thicker to support older AM4 coolers. It'd be better to lap the CPU but then you void the warranty so the consumer is just out of luck on this one...

Great upgrade for pictures in post processing. So fast paired with the 7900xt.

Upgrade from amd 7 to 9 and you can tell the huge diference

So i had the 7900x prior to this and i absolutely regret the switch. This chipset is a paid in the a** to configure. Noticed a performance drop across the board on all my games. I was talked into this for the V-cache but i havent seen a single advantage to running this chipset versus the 7900x. Extremely disappointed.......

I forgot to charge my phone and it died during school

10/10 16 core cpu, but -10/10 for shipment “pickup” on best buy. Got an email twice saying my item arrived and somehow Disappeared when i arrived at store. Hmmmmm… taking my bussiness else where for life….. dont got time for this.
