This is a movie loosely based on the life of Barry Seal, who got involved in drug and arms smuggling in Latin America. Tom Cruise's performance (and all of the supporting actors) is marvellous. Action, comedy, drama, this film has it all.

I think this is based on a true story?, I didn't watch the news much back in those days so I don't recall but it was probably in the news. Anyway different than I thought it was going to be but gave it a 4 instead of 5 because it made me worry about all the money he had to hide lol...

Great acting by Tom Cruise. Great and engaging storyline about how things came to be and what was to happen. I got to see this at the Theater the day it came out and I got this on Disc also the day it came out as I really enjoyed this movie.

American Made is Tom Cruise's best film in years with action and humor perfectly mixed with the serious drama of the true story. Beautiful Blu-ray quality shows off director Doug Liman's use of almost surrealistic colors. Don't miss this!

It is a great narrated movie. If you like action and Tom Cruise, this is the perfect movie. Definitely not something I would recommend watching with the kids around, but very good feeling for the appropriate aged individuals

The “American Made” movie where Tom Cruise gives a brilliant performance as a drug dealer working for the CIA is a good movie that depicts the sell of drugs by the CIA to support the Nicaraguan contras.

Finally a Tom Cruise movie I can enjoy. Was not a fan of the MIP series. Don't think I like Cruise movie since Top Gun or Days of Thunder. American Made was incredible and I loved watching it.

Great true story staring Tom Cruise and how government performs black ops at the expense of its on the ground heroes. Buy this movie and you won’t be disappointed. Picture quality is amazing in 4K.

The 80's were crazy...especially in Central America. Great story, although not sure how true this based on a true story depiction actually may be. I will say it was fun and entertaining.

I'm not a huge Tom Cruise fan, but this movie was surprisingly good. I bought it on discount, so thought I would take a chance. Glad I did.
