whaaat? this movie was great, don't understand why all the negativity when it was released in theaters. and to find out this was a true story ..whaat?

Never knew the backstory of the true American character I grew up around without ever knowing it.

This movie, from the director of The Bourne Identity, stars Tom Cruise as a CIA operative/drug runner/family man and is based on a true story. Tom Cruise, Domhnall Gleeson, and the trio of S. American narcos give entertaining performances. Other supporting cast like Seal's wife and brother-in-law can't quite hold their own. The film has an interesting look, almost like a photo filter, which help it to bring to mind the bygone 70's and 80's.

Loved the movie and the 4k hdr plus Atmos makes this a great evening enjoyed at the comfort of your home!
