It was okay and a welcome addition to my 4K Ultra collection. I bought this without seeing it first. It was entertaining. It was a different character for Tom Cruise I'm sure after playing Jack Reacher and Ethan Hunt.

it has a unique way of presenting the story. A buddy described it as, if you took the style of one scene, the montage, and extended for close to two hours. I applauded the approach, not sure of the execution

If all the things we "learn" about our CIA are true, they are horrible, expensive and responsible for much more trouble than they solve. Cruise is still going strong and the movie had its moments.

Will not watch again. I was the only one willing to watch the whole thing. Good story for an ice breaker or the first 20 minutes of a movie but streatching this out was not entertaining.

enjoyable movie, not great, would not have been happy to spend $15 each for my family to see at the theater, but good for a cold wet day in the home theater

Not the biggest fan of this movie, but def a fan of Tom Cruise movies. I bought this on an impulse. It’s okay.

Not knowing what to expect but fans of T.C (movie-wise), we enjoyed watching this. Lots of twists and turns and a few laughs along the way.

Still don’t understand why 4k Blu-ray are still so high in price, but needed one in order to check out our new 4k Blu-ray player

This movie looked better in the trailers, unfortunately. It was cool to see the story unfold but it felt like an eternity to get there.

the movie is entertaining for the first half or so but the second half feels like the films just on auto pilot. The acting is accepable but honestly I have seen documentary's on the subject that are more entertaining. Personally I would recommend the cocaine cowboys documentary if you are interested in this genre and time in history and leave this film for a rental at most.
