Bradley Cooper is absolutely astounding in this movie. It is an intimate look into not only Chris Kyle's life, but also the sacrifices made both in and out of the field of battle by our military and the struggle to come home and live a "normal" life. Great movie...I absolutely recommend purchasing this one.

Clint Eastwood did it again in this latest movie I think he shows an excellent representation of what a Soldier goes through between Military and their private home life who has been in combat .To me this is not a movie about about a killing machine just a man doing his job to protect the other soldiers .

This was a fantastic movie. The locations, scripting, actors, and flow of the movie was expertly done by a true story teller. I'll watch this one again, which I rarely do. While there is a lot of action, the personal voyages of the characters made it real for me. A great story, about a true American Hero!

Excellent story with a lot of insight into the horrors and life changing experience many soldiers live. I hope many see how this can affect our soldiers in uniform and the devastating role it plays in their life once they come home, very enlightening. It's so important they have someone at home for them.

Clint Eastwood brings us American Sniper, a film that chronicles the life story of Chris Kyle. This movie is informative and engrossing, without falling prey to the melodrama that so many films of this ilk seem to. It's not exactly "entertaining" but it surely is a film we should all see at least once.

After you watch this movie it is easy to see why it was nominated for Movie Of The Year Oscar. Sadly it got snubbed. Knowing it was based on a real person and held true to the book he wrote while he was still alive.. this movie is honest and raw! Easily one of Clint Eastwood's BEST movies as a director!!

This movie is the perfect depiction of what it's like for people in the military. Chris Kyle's story is one that shouldn't go unnoticed and this nails it perfectly. What a true american hero he was. Anyone with a heart should buy this movie, especially with part of the proceeds going to his foundation.

Great tribute to a warrior. This film is not just about war, or how many people did the director show being killed with some extravagant special effects scene. It's about the life of a man, a father and how many of our veterans survive the war, but pose their life at home where they should be safe.

I love films based on true stories and this one is one of the best I've seen. Bradley Cooper is excellent and should have the Oscar. Clint Eastwood directing was excellent as well. Some people didn't understand what it was about. Not the war but how the men and women deal with it when they come home.

This is simply a fantastic movie. It takes you through everything Chris Kyle experienced while serving as a navy seal in the military, to his emotional detachment from reality back at home from the war he fought in. If you love war and/or military movies in general, then this is right up your alley.

A gripping and powerful movie that commands respect of our Armed Forces. You see Chris go through not only the trials of tough decision making that work against his morals, but his family life and his life in the military. A true American Hero whose story was told magnificently in this movie.

The only thing I can say about this movie is that we do Not Thank our service men enough, they do so much for us which we take for granted, how selfish our we ,our freedom comes for a price and it's men like Chris that pays it, thank him and his family for all they have done and may GOD be with them.

American Sniper loosely follows the career of American Hero, Chris Kyle. The movie dramatizes things a bit much for my liking, but does a real good job of letting Chris's sense of duty and loss shine through. Bradley Cooper is outstanding as Kyle, and it's a shame he wasn't recognized by the Oscars.

This is a breath taking movie that lets you see the decisions a man in the military has to take. This family guy doesn't want to kill what he thinks is just a father and son but is forced to do so to keep him and the men around him alive. This is an award winning movie for a reason, it's that good.

A superbly crafted film about sniper Chris Kyle. Bradley Cooper completely transforms himself in the title role, while everyone else brings everything they have to the table. Even if you know how it ends (which should already been known before you see this), it still pulls at the heart strings. A+

My fiancé is obsessed with this movie and begged me to buy it in blu-ray. Glad we did! This movie tells the story of an American legend. Watching it in blu-ray is icing on the cake. Picture quality is amazing and makes for a great watching experience. Definitely worth the buy.

Great storyline with a perfect cast. This movie really pulls together not only what it's like for soldiers during war but their families too. Clint Eastwood did a outstanding job. Definitely a must buy. And they're donating proceeds to the Wounded Warrioir Project. Can't get much better than that.

I highly recommend buying this movie. It is patriotic, yet provides a balanced, holistic, and nuanced view of what soldiers and their wives and children go through at home. There are a lot of bonus features on the blu ray and it is definitely worth checking out.

Great movie depicting an American hero who was tragically killed (murdered actually) back home in the states after serving over seas and saving countless American service men and woman's lives. They did a good job of getting the core of who he was as a person and it is cininamacticly spectacular.

This movie sends a great message. It provides even more respect to everyone serving for this countries freedom. It also provides an awareness to the symptoms and effects of PTSD that soldiers can suffer from and the importance of encouraging your loved ones to seek additional support as needed.
