A sensitive, riveting movie from director Clint Eastwood. Based on a true story, Clint has delivered a movie that will last for many years. I don't like movies about war. This is more than that. It tells of the horror as well as how it affects family's at home. Well worth while.

I found this to be an inspiring film. The movie was intense with really good acting, especially from Bradley Cooper. Although it had plenty of action, this movie also makes you reflect on the sacrifice our brave military men and women, as well as their families, make for our nation.

It was wonderful experience shopping for the DVD. The sales associate was very helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. He took right to what I wanted so that I didn't have to look for it myself. As always, it was pleasant experience. The quality of the DVD was excellent. Thank you.

A story that details the hardships beyond the obvious separation military family's go through. A patriot that fell before his time. A true story that all Americans need to understand. The movie is closest to the real deal I have seen of late. Well worth the price of the dvd...

This was an extremely good movie. It had a lot of jumping back and forth in time, but was well done so it was very easy to follow. It was a good mixture of a war story and home life (after returning). It was very realistic, and gives a true picture of what our soldiers go through.

This movie separates the U.S. from the rest of the world. Great filmmaking based on a true story. I don't know how this movie did not take years to complete. No stone was left unturned. You feel the character. You feel the cause. You feel you want to watch it again.

THE SEAL'S MISSION DOES THINGS AND GOES PLACES WE CAN ONLY DREAM OF. THEY HAVE TO PERFORM MANY JOBS WE WILL NEVER KNOW. CHRIS KYLE HAS TO LIVE AND DEAL WITH THE RECURRING THOUGHTS OF HIS ACTIONS, AND CAN'T DEAL WITH THEM WHEN HE GETS HOME.THIS IS WHAT WAR DOES TO SOME.

Superb acting and great directing make this one of the best movies to come out. The only movie that I liked better in the past year was Unbroken. Both movies based on true stories and both made you feel as though you were there living with the characters as their stories are told.

Just don't get the 7 year itch. You really start to understand the complexity of the Geneva conventions and the significance of the real rules of engagement here. Bradley Cooper portrayal of Specialist Kyle who died of a veterans PTSD derangement is very accurate.

The movie is one of the best war movie of all time. It made you think of all those in armed forces and their families. Thank God for their service of keeping us safe in America. The cast and movie was great. Every American needs to watch this movie. It should have won more awards.

Bradley Cooper and Clint Eastwood Bring American Sniper to Life. American Sniper is nothing less than a masterpiece, possibly Clint Eastwood's best movie since The Outlaw Jose Wales. This is not a war movie but rather a mini documentary about Chris Kyle's life. Highly recommended!

This is definitely one of my favorite movies. I have read the book months before the movie came out. There were a lot of parts left out but that's how it is. The book had lots of little stories, and the movie tied them all nicely together. I highly recommend this!!

I love this movie it was fantastic it tells the story of what happens in the field. People complain about the killing of people but this movie pretty much explains a lot. When you are in the field you are there for a reason. It covers what is done, love, and the death of a hero.

Acting was great and movie was about something we all can relate too which is freedom. Awesome movie that shows the military as they are and how they have to deal with what politics makes them do and what they have to do to save their own lives and those of their fellow members.

People that dismissed wanting to see this movie because it celebrates or glorifies war really miss the point. You get to see conflict within someone who has to make split second life and death decisions that affect men, women and children, known and unknown. Eastwood gets it.

This is probably one of my favorite movies! I got lucky and happened to be at Best Buy on a good day because I got this Blu-ray for an awesome price. It's been at regular price ever since. However, the movie is just that good, that it's worth every penny.

Another great movie by the legend Clint Eastwood. Most people have heard about the story by now. This is about an American sniper over in Iraq and about his life with his family when he comes home. This is a true story. The dvd also has some nice extra features to watch too

What is there to say about this movie. I think it was tastefully done and when I found out Chris Kyle had been working on it with Clint Eastwood at the time of his death, that meant even more to me. The ending was done in the most respectful tribute to an outstanding man.

Beyond my expectations. The quality, both visual and sound were incredible. The story is well know but the movie captures the real story. I will watch this over and over i am sure. If you are drawn to real life movies this, most likely, will become one of your favorites also.

I bought this movie for my nephew as a gift; however, I have seen it multiple times. A gut wrenching glimpse of what our veterans face and the unfortunate outcomes that can result from the trauma.
