Great movie representing Chris Kyle, not as much war scenery as I thought there would be but still a great movie considering the circumstances. Would also recommend Lone Survivor.

Regardless of the questions related to some of the facts of the book this is based on, it is a good movie. I have no problem recommending it to anyone who likes a war based drama.

Movie had some intense, thought provoking moments. Could actually have explored the main character deeper, both in the middle East and how he eventually recovered back in the US.

A well shot and acted movie. These are the type of films I enjoy. It isn't a rah-rah film, but shows how tough it can be for someone involved in a situation most only read about.

Cannot go wrong with a Clint Eastwood war film, especially this true life story of Chris Kyle. Powerful and accessible for the casual movie viewer or hardcore war film veterans.

From what I have heard and read this movie is based on actual events and portrays those events accurately. We will be watching again soon and several times over in the future.

This movie was outstanding. Picture a man who will stop at nothing to protect his country. The movie has great pace, great story and great effects. Definitely worth it to buy.

It's actually truly an EXCELLENT movie and moving story. I simply wish it didn't have quite as much vulgar language in the movie. Tough to watch with teenagers in the house.

I thought Bradley Cooper did a great portrayal of Chris Kyle. While not the best action movie I have seen there were enough tense, exciting sequences to keep me interested.

Bought as a present for my father. Hes into Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Platoon, & movies like that. He enjoyed this ne too. Said it was good & of course sad

Really great movie, not as much about the individual, as much as focusing on what the recent conflicts in the Middle East have done to our soldiers psychologically.

I wasn't a fan of Bradley Cooper going in, but he made a believer out of me with American Sniper. Outstanding performance and direction from Clint Eastwood.

Saw this movie twice in theatres and had to own a copy on DVD. Such a moving story and depiction of what he went through. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Awesome Movie...you get to see the reality of what military families go through each and every day. I give props to all US Men & Women serving us in the arm forces.

The best film depicting the day to day stresses and decisions that have to be made by soldiers in a combat situation. Bradley Cooper delivers his best role to date!

This movie brings some of the struggles of our soldiers to light. An incredible story though changed by hollywood to make into a movie is worth a watch. RIP Chris.

I enjoyed the film and the depiction of the tough decisions that have to made in seconds. You can say what you want about the person, but it was a gripping watch.

Based on a true story, I thought it was good. At first I was a little confused going back and forth in time. I don't think I would recommend purchasing this DVD.

A lot of hype about this movie and I thought it was really good. I didn't know much about the subject beforehand, so it did not cloud my enjoyment of the movie.

Bradley Cooper was a poor choice to portray a warrior that Chris Kyle was. All in all a good flick to rent not buy.
