As far as entertaining goes it keeps your interest. I mean the language is a bit of a drawback if you aren't used to hearing f bombs every couple minutes then maybe reconsider. But if you can get through it great movie.

Action packed movie that really depicted how the sniper himself might feel. I would definitely watch this movie again, but I was a little "disappointed" by the ending. We knew what happened to him, but not really HOW. We wanted to see what might have made the shooter lose it. Didn't need to see any gory specific details, but the story was supposed to be about the tragedy of losing his life after all was said and done (with multiple and dangerous tours.)

I've never been to war but I can imagine this is what it is like. Great picture and sound. I can't wait until I get Dolby Atmos in my theater to try out this disc.

This movie shows a lot of what a soldier has to go through being half way around the world while trying to raise your family and deal with the tough choices made in war and having to live with those consequences and ptsd

I first thought the movie was OK. But I watched the accompanying extras on the Blue Ray DVD and was amazed! There is so much information that I did not know about Kyle that was given in those 2 extras! Great Great movie!

This is a true story of a true American National hero and I assure you, you would want him backing your six. Shows he is a human being and what he put on the line. I have given these as gifts and will continue to do so.

One of the most surprising films of last year. Usually when movies say are true it's hard to believe but after doing a little research this film is pretty accurate. Great acting including Bradelu Cooper in the helm.

Bought as a gift for a friend, and he LOVED it! Sorry, not a useful review otherwise. Best Buy carries either an exclusive BB version with an extra documentary else blu-ray/dvd combo are essentially the same price/deal.

This is an outstanding movie of a flesh and blood American National Hero. And the actor hit the nail on the head with his acting one of his best movies, we need more like this to show reality. I am buying a couple more.

I read the book. It is a great first person review of his role on the battlefield. The movie was a bit different but still gripping by helping to reveal the stresses of Chris Kyle's role serving our country.

This movie should be should be shown to all those contemplating military service. I show the great personal toll the war takes on participants. The heroism of Chris Kyle is undeniable. He saved many of his squad mates.

This is a great movie about a TRUE American Hero. Does have military violence, I wouldn't watch it with kids. But, it is a great story about the struggles that our service members deal with. Can't recommend it enough!

Fighting wars for the Bankers is a tough task but the American Sniper knows his place and fights well. At the end it is a typical American psycho that kills the American sniper. Very Ironic ending, but only in America.

Clint Eastwood knows film excellence. His touch along with true life dramatics of Chris puts pride in your heart and tears on your cheeks. Thank you Chris and thanks to you Mr. Eastwood for bringing it to the screen!!

Best military movie i have ever seen. An appropriate tribute to Chris Kyle, a true American hero, caring family man, and a genuine fine human being. Rest in piece Kyle, i for one will never forget you!

I saw this movie at the theater and new I had to own it. What a sad but great story! It is soldiers like this that provide our nation's security evey day so everyone can have an opinion and live in this great nation!

Hollywood did a much better job than I had come to expect. This may go down as one of the best inside stories of wartime conditions ever. Bradley Cooper gives an outstanding performance of American courage under fire.

This will become one of the great movies for those that served in this theater of war. It strikes at the essence of what it means to be a service member and part of a brother/sisterhood of those who serve our country.

I read the book and was waiting for the movie. I was not disappointed. One of the best movies that I've watched in a long time. The only movie that I've seen in theaters that it was totally silent during the credits.
