This film is known first and foremost for Rick Baker's insane practical effect shots of the protagonist turning into a werewolf but so much more of this movie is worth another view. John Landis is a genius at the blending of genres and hits a home run with AAWIL

Possibly one of the best horror/comedy movies out there... definitely one of the top werewolf movies ever... amazing practical effects!

Not sure how the quality compares to previous releases. But it's more affordable than the ArrowVideo version. I mainly did it for this cover art. I hate when covers show the Werewolf but this is too cool!

Great looking steelbook of one the great horror/comedy films. Only real complaint is that it didn't come with a digital copy.

Bought this for Halloween! Nothing like a classic to watch during Halloween. Graphics not as good as they are now, but still good to watch.

This new improved transfer is 1000 times better than the original bluray that came out years ago ...extremely highly recommended

Great disc - stellar transfer. Sound is clear and well mixed. Loads of bonus features. Dig the updated sleeve as well. Great value for the money. Love this classic John Landis werewolf film. Glad to see it finally getting the blu transfer it deserves.

This is a really good movie that is held up well over the last 30 years. The special effects are a bit dated, but were state-of-the-art for the time. No CGI, obviously. Great story, and acting. I would definitely recommend.

One of the best horror films of all time arrives in this special edition. While the transfer does look great here, the special features seem to be a bit lacking-- would have liked more. Still, worth the pickup if your'e a genre fan.

Had to get it. with a cool cover just drew me in and its a movie that you can always rewatch no matter how many times its been.

This is a great creature feature with the special effects talent of Rick Baker. Jenny Agutter is also in this movie.
