Scary film without all the unnecessary gore of films of today. The steelbook is nice too, with a collage of scenes from the movie crossing both sides of the inside.

This werewolf movie is essential in any horror movie collection. It measured up there with the top werewolf movies such as classic wolfman or the howling. It is also very gruesome and humerous!

I had seen this year's ago and now on bluray it looks even better. The transformation scene is probably the greatest in movie history and the.make up looks even more intense. The acting is a bit cheesy but it's suppose to be and the humour is just right. I hear there going to remake it but not sure if it's necessary.

John Landis basically invented a genre with this half-horror, half-comedy film, and the result is a groundbreaking piece of work that would be ripped off for years to come. The new Blu-ray release has a great retrospective documentary (shot in the early 2000s) on the feature that includes interviews with almost everyone from the production.

finally the "extended" version (98 min instead of the old boring 97 min version). it's really about the remastering that makes it a must buy. this my 4th time buying this film now.

Forget today's awful horror films with terrible CGI and lame jump scares, this classic werewolf flick is truly fun to watch.

This was the first real attempt at a story with real gore. The setting and visual effects are first rate for its time and the story itself is the classic bitten by a werewolf.

Major upgrade PQ wise from previous blu-ray release. Best werewolf film in my opinion is even better now. Rick Baker's EFX look killer! Transformation reveal scene pops.

Great artwork, awesome movie. One of my favorite horror movies of all time now with a great steelbook case.
