If you're a fan of Will Ferrell or a fan of the original Anchorman, you'll probably love the sequel. For me, the movie started off strong with alot of good jokes that had me laughing, but as the movie approached the ending, the movie became less and less funny. There are some jokes that are just dumb to me, but overall, this is a worthy sequel to Anchorman. Will Ferrell has built a career off of "Dumb Humour" and this one continues with that sort of tradition. I thought the movie was good, but not great. It's definetely not better than the first Anchorman(which I consider a cult comedy classic), but it's definetely worth checking out especially if you like the first Anchorman movie or Will Ferrell.

Even though I agree it wasn't as good as the first I was still a big fan of the movie. Very funny at times and the cameos for the fight scene were top notch. Also, the two different forms of the film are great, and the extras they have are awesome.

Being a huge fan of the first Anchorman (I still laugh myself to tears during the anchorman fight), I came into this one with high hopes. The first film set a very high bar for comedy, so the fact that the sequel isn't as much of an instant classic doesn't detract from the general greatness of this one. Since the film is largely the actors hilariously playing off of each other, some jokes (notably from Brick) fall flat, but with so many jokes flying at you every second, you'd have to be a monster to not enjoy this.

Maybe not as funny as the first film, but still a good sequel. Reuniting the entire cast was great. I just wish there was more Christina Applegate in the film. The chemistry between her and Will Ferrell is what made the first film such a gem.

Attempts at sequel for off-the-wall comedies are normally a recipe for trouble, and while Anchorman 2 isn't outright horrible, it doesn't quite capture the magic of the first film. The characters are as wonderfully zany as they were in the first installment, but the story is meandering and has far too many beats (which seem to be forced for the sake of jokes). There's also a bit of one-ups-manship happening, it's great to see some of the old gags revisited, but they often fall flat... or end up too over-the-top. I could barely tolerate the 'Super Sized' version, as it runs over 2 1/2 hours and the quality of 'new' material isn't worth the extra runtime.

The movie is exactly what you imagine it to be. If you liked the original, especially Steve Carell, one of my favorites, then you should enjoy this movie. Same type of humor, same characters, back for more. Nice, lighthearted comedy.

The original Anchorman was pretty much hilarious from the word go. the sequel is unfortunately less balanced with a few significant lulls in plot and humor. However, as the summary states, when it's funny it's absolutely hilarious.

While you have three different versions of the movie to choose from, none of them quite reach the greatness of the original. It's still a good comedy, and worth a watch, but don't expect greatness as you will be disappointed.

Its is a great long awaited sequel. Great that they brought back all the same characters. A lot of the great punchlines in the movie were given in the previews. You knew the jokes before they came the leadups gave them away.

The cast is having a blast rolling out one joke after another. The extra versions of the film are a fun addition. This kind of humor isn't for everyone, but for those that liked the first one you will enjoy this one as well.

The long-awaited sequel to a modern day cult classic and it lived up to expectations.....and also didn't at the same time. "Anchorman" isn't that great of a movie. Scandalous, I know, but it's true. However, it's so memorable for its stupidity and stupidity for its own sake became endearing. This sequel brings back all the elements which made its predecessor so great and throws everything at wall in hopes of becoming as successful. Didn't work. Doesn't mean it's awful, but the hype far surpassed the final product for my money. And let's not even get started on the child actor portraying Ron Burgundy's son....

I'm a huge fan of Anchorman so unfortunately my expectations were high. This one is good, but not as good as the first so it left me a little disappointed. I was hoping it would be at least as good as the first one.

almost as good as the first anchorman but doesn't quite have the same magic. a lot of scenes seem forced but there is also a lot of hilarity throughout. highly recommended for fans of the original and its actors.

If you saw the first on, then there isn't anything that can change your mind for better or worse. I loved the first one and I thank heaven that they made a second one. But a third may be too much. Long live Ron!

Love this movie. Initially I didn't feel It was as good as first one, but watching it a second time has me thinking its right up there. If you liked Anchorman I really think you'll like #2 Classic Will Ferrell!

Not quite as funny as the first but the team was in full form. Still a must see and glad a sequel came to light. The extras and the alternative ending recommended. Nice to see the unrated version available.

It is a good movie to watch when you have friends or other people who can enjoy this type of humor. It gets strange towards during the climactic ending. Great movie to enjoy with some beverages in order.

What can I say....It's Will Ferrell. This guy is funny in EVERY movie he is in. It's not the first Anchorman, but it is still worth seeing and definitely worth owning if you are a Will Ferrell fan.

The Anchorman series is absolutely hilarious! All the actors are pros when it comes to comedy. The bluray extras are great as well. There should be a commentary on every comedy film in my opinion.

Anchorman 2 isn't as good as the original, but it does have its moments. If you're looking for a fun popcorn movie, this is a good one. I will say the uncut version is totally worth the money.
