During a already completed exchange the store manager Todd tried to come up tell me I did not bring the products in stole them telling me to come with him to look at cameras threatening to call security to have them walk me to look at surveillance in front of other customers and employees not even pulling associate to side to see what was going on. Then when I told him I would not he went back to look on his own and still came back to question me multiple times with out checking camera mind you in front of people never asking me or cashier for receipt that was there. The amount of prejudice and disappointment I feel with this experience is extreme. I am currently seeking counseling on how to proceed forward on this discriminatory act. Please feel free to call me as well but the fact that a store manager caused that scene without even haveing the cashier ask him to help is crazy. He noted that he watched me I walked in and out of store and even around the store with open boxed items I had planned to return (purchased with my Best Buy card) tried to stop me til I already exchanged a product (that he grabbed and held away from me not to take) and was buying another 200 dollars worth of things. I have never felt so uncomfortable mfortable and embarrassed about an experience I literally sat in my car for awhile after not even able to drive because I was stunned. I literally have been shopping with you for over two decades and never had anyone even say I need a sticker for my return let alone while I already exchanged one thing and the associate has my credit card account pulled up, be told I’m stealing and to come watch footage not even being sure that I had on his end. Very sad that your manager Todd would be like this in front of his associates and even customers especially when the cashier was just amazing and we where having a great transaction. Felt discriminated on as a young gay Latin male to have the manager be in such disbelief that I could buy such items.
