I own a few Anker products including USB hubs, other battery packs and USB plugs and cables for my iPhone. They’re a brand that’s done very well for themselves over the last 10 years becoming synonymous for quality through Amazon. I have been happy with all the products I’ve ever bought from them. Which brings me to the Anger 633 MagGo Portable Magnetic Battery. It is a great overall battery pack that has a great premise but slightly misses the mark where needed most, its magnetic strength. The Battery pack came in a nice small package. I always recommend charging these units to full strength in the first use. I plugged mine in and let it charge up and then attempted to just set it up against my phone. I have an Otterbox thinner style case and the Anker battery pack will barely attach with the case on. It will do it, but not very well and not as well as I had hoped. I am a person that uses the phone with a case 24/7 so unless I can get a different thinner case this won’t really work the way it needs to for my everyday use. With the case off the magnetic strength is good and definitely stronger but I still don’t trust it for every day use. A little momentum and the battery pack and phone easily separate. The kickstand is a nice touch as well but again it won’t work unless you have the case off. The one thing I do like about the easy separation with a case on is that you can set it down easily on a counter and it will work and charge and then you can just walk up and pick up your phone and be on your way and leave the battery pack behind. So on the go charging it’s not that bad. Battery life for the unit is pretty solid. It definitely does at least a full charge on my iPhone with room to spare. And had a USB C and USB A plug for other devices. The battery feels solid and has a nice matte finish to it. Overall I like the battery pack and if you’re in the market for one I would definitely give this a look but don’t rely on the magnetic charge for everyday use unless you plan on using your phone without a case.

This is one of the few portable charger that can charge an iphone max to 100% and still have some charge left.

The anker power source has a decent battery and strong magnets but the device does not hold a charge very well.

Barely had to use it but a great thing to have if you need it.

Its a good alternative to apples magsafe only reason its not 5 stars is because i wish it wasn’t as bulky

I've been using this charger now for about a week or so and I am impressed. This will likely become my primary charger for travel. It's 10k mAh battery capacity is able to fully charge my iPhone 13 more than 2x before it needs charging. The magsafe feature makes it literally a snap to charge my iPhone without wires at 7.5W, which I really didn't realize was a feature I wanted in a battery charger until I had it. Now I don't think I'll ever go back to wired charging. It's so convenient. The charger also has a traditional USB A port and a fast charging USB C port that delivers 20W for quick charging. The only downside I see that might be a factor for portability is that the unit itself is about 7.7oz., which is a little hefty, but I'm carrying it in my backpack with my laptop, etc., so it's not noticeable. If I was carrying it around attached to the phone all day, I can imagine it could feel a bit heavy. The size of the unit itself is about the size of a deck of cards, and it looks great attached to my phone and black magsafe compatible case.

This unit is very solid, with a clean and intuitive design. You can charge it up using the included USB-C cable. However, no power plug was included which makes it less convenient and less versatile. The design is sleek and crisp with a very sturdy feel. A small stand folds down from the back to hold this unit at useful angle and then you can set your phone upright against it. The device has magnets that will attach it to your iPhone either with the stand deployed or with the unit piggy-back style on your phone attached magnetically. You do have the ability to plug this charger in and charge both the charger and an attached phone at the same time. This makes it very convenient to get a couple extra charges packed away, and your phone gets fully charged at the same time. These devices are a must for travel needs for when you can’t find a charging station – that ability can be a lifesaver. I have found not all airports have charging stations or they are busy and not available. I highly recommend this compact, versatile and powerful charger.
