Defective design and cheap manufacture - don’t buy

Dock works well for the headset, but the rechargeable batteries for hand controllers (1) are entirely unnecessary since regular batteries last forever here, and (2) are extremely finicky and for me eventually failed to charge altogether. Every time the controllers are used, the batteries get out of alignment and you have to take the controller apart to rotate them. In my case after about thirty days, they wouldn’t charge at all. Then if you buy the elite strap with rechargeable battery combo, the dock is useless unless you want to remove the magnetic attachment from the headset every time you want to charge both batteries together. That part is cheap plastic and very difficult to remove and falls apart very quickly. Rendering the dock unusable garbage. Don’t buy! Best Buy gave me my refund on the last day. Save yourself the headache!

If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
- Check if the controllers have been placed properly on the Charging Dock, make sure the charging ports on the Battey Cover and the Charging Dock connect properly.
- Check if the battery has been installed as instructed, make sure the contacts on the battery case are touching the metal tabs on the batteries.

The only thing i hate is that went trying remove the usb c from the headset is really hard to take off but you mosty dont need to take it off other than that its really good. Also its good so you dont just toss the vr anywhere and lose it
