    I love anker and most of their products are fantastic. This thing is awful, the magnet is weak it does not fit the iPhone 12 mini and sticks out the bottom nearly an inch. It’s thick and heats up

    It doesn’t hold a charge very long and it dies before the phone is fully charged honestly not worth the money in my opinion

    Honestly such a trash product it doesn’t charge that well and will only hold enough juice for a partial charge then the battery is drained. The device takes for ever to charge up even when using a usb c to usb c charger with a high out out wall block. I returned the item maybe a week or so after purchase cause it would of just ended up being a mediocre phone stand.

    This thing has me baffled

    I still haven’t figured out how to charge this darn thing! Both ends of the charger cord are approximately the same size. Neither fits the plug that one fits into the socket-I’ve had other Anker chargers but never ran across this difficulty.

    I love alot of Anker products but i was not impressed with this battery it only worked for me around 3 times then it stopped working. Plus i was not a fan of this stand it felt cheap only thing i like cheap is my food.

    Great concept, but didn't hold a charge long enough to charge one phone let alone multiple phones on a long airplane trip. It also got very hot to the touch when charging. Wouldn't recommend this at all.

    Convenient, but questionable design

    Though I think the naming is unfortunate (essentially ‘maggo’), this is a good, not great, product. I have an iPhone 12 mini and after charging the maggo up fully and letting my iPhone run down to about 13%, I placed it on the charging pack. Getting the mini up to 100% took some time (this is not a fast charger) and used up 2 of the 4 charging dots that indicate how much juice the battery pack has. So, I estimate I can get about 2 charges out of this for my mini. I think that’s pretty good. I question the design of this, however, as I have some other Anker products. The USB-C port as well as the charging indicator and button are all along the bottom edge of the maggo, so that if you have the maggo propped up using its built-in stand, not only can you not charge it while in stand mode, but you also can’t get a glance of the charging indicators. Maybe there’s a reason that the engineers did this, but it would have been much better if the port and indicator lights were on the side of the maggo rather than on the bottom edge. Another design issue probably has to do with the iPhone mini specifically - the maggo hangs off the bottom edge of the mini since the mini is so small. So, when you’re holding your mini with the maggo attached to the back, you’re actually rubbing your finger along the bottom edge of the maggo rather than the bottom edge of the mini. This is uncomfortable and actually gets a bit painful after holding it this way for a prolonged period (which I imagine is the use case scenario for these MagSafe battery packs, ie, charge, hold and use simultaneously). Regardless, if you can set aside these design complaints then I think this is a good buy.

    This magnetic backup battery does what I hoped it would, which is allow me to use it as a pass through MagSafe type charging device that can also be detached from the power source to keep providing juice on the go. In that regard it’s really great and I’m very pleased with it. However, if you are only looking for an on the go backup battery solution it leaves a lot to be desired. It is fairly thick, thicker than my iphone 13 pro max with a MagSafe leather case on, and much too large for my wife’s 13 mini. If you have a 12 or 13 mini, don’t buy this it will not work for you at all. Anyone else with a MagSafe compatible iphone can consider it an option. As far as charging my 13 pro max, it is fairly slow, only giving me about 35% more charge in 3 hours while I continued using it, and getting very warm in the process and ending up nearly depleted in that time. In addition, it is heavy so it will cause some strain if you intend to keep holding your phone while simultaneously charging it. The built in stand is a nice touch and could definitely be useful if you want to prop up your phone while watching videos, especially since it will at least charge your phone faster than it depletes it’s own battery while you use it. As stated, for me it’s what I wanted. I needed a MagSafe charger for my fairly new phone and this will do that for me and optionally can be taken along for continued charging and kickstand use. If you want a huge amount of juice or super fast charging you may be disappointed. I’d recommend it if you are looking to do what I do as it’s an elegant solution in that case, otherwise take the slowness and insignificant power into consideration.

    I haven’t had the best luck with products for the mag safe iPhone attachments actually staying attached but I am glad I finally found a item of use that does! I love that it is an actual wireless charger vs a wireless charging pad that needs to be plugged in. It works great with my mag safe case and actually stays firmly attached. Very convenient for on the go charging with no wires and the ability to turn it into a stand is a nice bonus! Charges fast too. Highly recommended for the iPhone with mag safe!

    Terrible , doesn’t support a iPhone 13 pro it falls over and doesn’t work with a otter box even though the otter box is MagSafe . Going to return it

    Okay portable charger/battery

    Overall it does what it suppose to do, meaning it takes the charge then you can take it with you and charge your iPhone while away from the outlet. It has a small form, so it can be easily stored. But at the same time the folding stand is not very strong, it can fold on occasion when you put a phone against it (I have the largest iPhone 12). I don’t use the stand, instead let the unit lay down on its back and I put my phone on the top of it. The instructions booklet has a very tiny print, only the sharpest eyes can read it. Still, the Anker unit does the job as intended, you can charge it no problem, take it with you and use away from power sources without the need for the cable to charge your iPhone. The cable(USB-C) of course is required to charge this charger. No problems whatsoever with initiating the charge of the iPhone. Works every time. BTW, I use the MagnaSafe compatible phone case and this charger works perfectly with it.
