Once when I tested it before my trip, and the second time during my trip. When I charged it for a 3rd time, it stopped working altogether. It would light up and let me know it was charged if it was plugged in, but once I tried to charge my phone with it, it would just flash for half a second and then die. I tried all kinds of fixes, from Reddit to the official Anker site, tried resetting it, tried different cables, tried charging different electronics, and nothing ever worked. Other reviewers and people on the Internet shared that there's a real chance that this item fails very early on. Best buy replaced it, and I'm very grateful for that and it makes me want to keep buying from Best buy, but as far as this product goes, I would highly advice against getting it. Maybe other Anker products are better.

My iPhone’s battery drained so fast, so having this charger with me helped a lot. I just left the phone charging in my tote bag while I was out getting things done. I was either on foot or on the bus, and did not have a car since I flew down to Los Angeles.
