We lose power often where I'm at, and my wife and I are able to keep our phones up with this long enough so it's never an issue. We did purchase the recommended charger from Anker, which will charge this bank considerable fast.

Instructions could be clearer as there is only a ring of lights to tell you everything from whether the pack is charged to if it's charging another device. But other than that it works really well.
