Anker Battery Backup

However, this battery stopped working after a couple uses. I received a replacement from Anker and the same exact failure occured. I generally recommend anker products, but I do not recommend this particular product.

I bought this item on sale now I have to pay an additional 40$ as a elite member almost super elite to buy it again (if I want it) because they no longer had it at the store and it’s back at full price so I have to pay the difference.

Used it on one trip and it worked good. On the next trip (2 weeks later) the charger would not charge my phone and instead drain my phone battery. Called customer service for support and they told me all they could do was replace it. I was disappointed as I went a couple days without a phone due to this. Customer service was helpful but the product was a let down.

Worked fine while charging laptop, but the next time I went to use it would not charge device. It would, however, get warm while attempting to charge (and stayed warm after charging for additional 12 hours... eeek).

I’m planning to return it.

I have trouble getting it to charge and doesn’t seem to have as much capacity as it’s size/weight would suggest. I got about 3 charges of my iPhone from it being fully charged.

Very unreliable charger

It's possible to have a laptop, iPhone, breast pump charging all at once. However, it has some massive drawbacks. There's no charger included, and using anything except a laptop charger meant it would take eons to charge. And second, I kept finding the battery pack fully drained after just sitting unused for a couple of days. Very unreliable.

Stay away.

The lights will show the charger is trying to charge off my phone. I should be able to charge my phone at least 3 times. If I get 1.5 charges I'm lucky. If it works at all. Fully charged it when I bought it. Went to use it and nothing after it sat for 2 weeks. I have chargers that work better out of cheap NJ gas station. Since I didn't really need it the first month I bought it since we are stuck in the house. I wished I would have returned it. Now I'm basically stuck with a 2 pound paper weight that will charge sometimes.

Unreliable

Purchased 5/23, the unit failed and would not charge, be charged, or respond to any reset attempts by 11/23. So this is a great option if you want a battery that breaks after 6 months of light use.

One major flaw, but nice overall

If you keep a cord plugged into it (and nothing is charging) it will quickly deplete overnight. You have to make sure you unplug all cords from it, which is a pain. Overall it charges quickly and I use it for traveling quite a bit.

No charging cube
