The Worst Power Bank Ever!

I purchased this power bank a couple of days before I left the country on my trip to Africa and when I needed this thing the most it did not work when I plugged my phone into it.....it did not work and my phone died while I had a layover in Paris. You have been warned please do not waste $40 on this device! By far the worst purchase ever. I am upset that I cannot return this device and get my money back.

It made the device incredibly hot and we saw a 7% depletion in Battery Health over the course of a week. Had to return it to Best Buy. They were great about the return.

Cheap and waste of money

The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because the micro-usb cable that the battery comes with doesn't charge the battery pack. The battery lights up when plugged in with the micro-usb cord, but the charge doesn't advance any further than what it is at initially. I am having to use a family member's phone cable in order to charge the product via usb type-c, which is a bit of an inconvenience when both items need to be charging simultaneously. Great product overall, as everything else seems to be functioning properly. Just the one flaw makes it slightly frustrating to charge the battery while also charging the phone.
