The Anker 40 watt Nano Pro (521 Charger) is a charging “block” that you will need to buy if you get a new iPhone (12 and 13) as they come only with a charging cord. You might want to do this even if you have an older model of charger to take advantage of the new fast-charge capability that a lot of phones and tablets now have. The small charging block that came with iPhones for years has only a 5 watt output. The most powerful one that Apple sells for iPhones has a 20 watt output. You might as well future-proof yourself and get one with a 40 watt output as that might last you through your next couple of cell phone upgrades. Or maybe you need to charge two phones at a time, or a phone and a tablet, then this is a great solution. The Anker Nano Pro has two USB-C ports to connect your charging cables to the device(s) that needs to be charged. The charger measures just under 2 & 1/2 inches long, by 1 & 3/8 inches square. The AC prongs do not fold into the body of the charger and that might be of concern for those that toss it in a backpack - you don’t want to inadvertently scratch your laptop or something else of value. The prongs are not polarized (one prong wider than the other), so you don’t have to worry about the orientation when you go to plug it into an outlet. The Nano Pro weighs 75 grams (2 & 1/2 ounces). It is over twice as heavy as my 20 watt Anker Power Port III Nano which weighs 30 grams, but that charger can charge only one device at a time. I have a new iPhone 13 and Apple claims their 20 watt charging block will bring it to a 50% charge in about 30 minutes. I ran my phone down to a 1% charge and attached it to the Nano Pro by itself and it reached 50% in 25 minutes, so I suspect the iPhone 13 will accept slightly more than 20 watts when charging. So a more powerful charger will gain you a little less time tethered to a cord. This is how quickly the Nano Pro charged my virtually dead iPhone: Minutes--------Percent Charge 0-------------------------1 5------------------------11 10----------------------22 15----------------------32 20----------------------43 25----------------------51 30----------------------60 35----------------------66 40----------------------72 45----------------------76 50----------------------80 55----------------------83 60----------------------86 75----------------------93 90----------------------97 105--------------------98 Anker offers an 18-month warranty on this charger, but based on my past experience with their products, I would expect it to last a long time past the warranty period. The circuits inside the charger “intelligently optimizes the power output to help safeguard your devices” and also monitors the temperature of the charger so that it doesn’t overheat. There is no need to worry about hurting your phone or tablet with a high powered charger as the device you are charging will only accept as much current as it wants to - the charger does not “force” extra current into the device. Anker has been making high quality computer and phone peripherals since 2011 and the Nano Pro (521 charger) is another great addition to the line.

This review is given after using the charger for two years. When it worked, there were no issues and used it to charge iPhone and Apple watch simultaneously most of the time. Unfortunately, when I tried to unplug the charger from electrical outlet, the charger's outer casing came separately while the other part remained in electrical outlet. The glue to hold the casing and the actual component didn't held together.

I just picked up the Anker – Powerport III Nano Pro Duo 40W Fast Wall Charger (2x20W USB-C) wall charger for my phone and tablet. I must say it is nice to have a wall charger that dishes out as much power as this one does. On top of the power output, there are 2 ports! That’s twice the fast charging power, normal wall chargers only come with one port and that’s if you get a wall charger with your device at all. I noticed with 2 devices plugged in, you get fast charge. If 1 device is plugged in, you get super-fast charge. Super-fast charge is amazing, especially if you need a battery boost before you leave the house or office. This wall charger is very well built, and it boasts the heft to prove it. I feel like this thing is bomb proof, even though I have not yet tested that. This thing feels like it could double as a paper weight, it’s amazing! Although the charger itself is made from plastic, it looks and feels as if it is made of a resin or glass, with its clean and smooth edges with a white internal surface eloquently wrapped in a clear protective coating. The prongs of the plug are very secure when plugged into the socket, this thing doesn’t budge. The packaging for this product was very clean, simple, modern, and easy to open. Some may say this is just a wall charger, they would be right, but it’s better than just any wall charger. Anker packed some great advanced technologies in this little package. The Anker - 521 Charger (Nano Pro) wall charger is equipped with PowerIQ 3.0, meaning the charger can adapt the charging output which enables full-speed charging. VoltageBoost compensates for cable resistance to keep charging fast. MultiProtect ensures total protection for both you and your device. That’s incredible tech for a wall charger! Along with the tech that makes this charger so fast, there are also safety features. One of the safety features is that the charger has a Power Tuner Chip. The Power Tuner Chip intelligently optimizes the power output to help safeguard your devices. Another feature includes a temperature sensor. The temperature sensor provides real-time temp information to the power tuner chip to ensure the charger stays in a safe temperature range. Overall, I am pleased with the decision to pick up this product. I have been a huge fan of Anker and their products like charging cables, wall chargers, even their car chargers. This is another Anker product that does not disappoint. Well made, long lasting, esthetically pleasing, and doesn’t break the bank. You simply can’t beat it. I recommend picking one up for your home or office.

    Outlet saving powerful USB-C charger

We recently got new iPhones at work that did not come with chargers. This charger solves that problem while also giving me another port to charge my iPad or personal cell phone at the same time. I normally travel with both phones, my iPad, and a smart watch so this reduces the number of chargers I carry and saves outlets (important since most hotels only have a few available). Pros - Compact size (takes up about the same amount of space as the Apple single USB-C 20w charger) - 2 USB-C ports that are perfect for new iPads and iPhones - Fast Charging. It quickly charged my iPad Pro from completely dead to 100% in about 2 hours. It is also recognized as a rapid charger by my Android personal phone. - Good design/build quality. I have owned several Anker charging cables and they were all very good quality - this charger does not disappoint. The outer case is smooth with a nice contrasting front. The charger has good weight and feels solid. Things to Consider - The prongs are fixed, which might be a concern for some. I have had the retractable/folding prongs on several old chargers fail (not Anker brand) so I prefer this option. - This charger is quick, but it does get a little warm - so make sure it has good ventilation if you are planning on maxing it out.

Anker’s latest line of Nano power adapters is out, and they are game-changing. Using a new type of power transformer, they are able to output huge amounts of power in small packages. This one is able to output up to 20W each to two USB-C devices, allowing for fast charging of two tablets or phones at the same time, in a package that is smaller than most single 20W charging bricks. The design is a simple understated white, with a two prong power plug (that sadly does not fold into the adapter), and two USB-C ports on the other side. Plug it in, plug in your device, and you are off to the races! Using USB-C to lightning cables, I was able to fast charge two phones, two iPads, or a mix and match of both with ease. Other USB-C devices all charged well with USB-C cables. For its size, the 40W total output (2x20W) is truly impressive, either for taking on the go or reducing clutter in your workspace. As a bonus, on a standard wall outlet, it does not block the plug beneath it either, leaving that open for another charger or whatever you need to plug in. Overall, this is a great little charger with a big output and is perfect for charging your modern mobile devices.

Purchased less than 60 days ago for a family member that has a iPhone and iPad. Figured they’ll be able to charge both and take up one plug. A bit bulky but I figured due to the special features like it detects over heating etc that it was necessary. It was working fine then around the 40 day mark it just stopped working. Tried different charger cables and swapped the block for troubleshooting purposes and sure enough it’s dead. Long story short don’t buy it. Hoping that I can find the manufacturers warranty information to file a claim. Maybe they’ll have a 1 year warranty.

This is the most recent in a long line of Anker chargers I have used. I am always impressed with their capability and build quality and this charger is no exception. This charger allows me to charge two USB-C devices very quickly and is more compact than some previous generation single port USB power supplies. I have included a couple of pictures showing the size of this power supply relative to an older model Anker PowerPort PD1 with a single USB C port, and the single port power supply that came with my current tablet. I don’t really care what these power supplies look like, but this one has the only “premium” finish among those that I have. More importantly it takes up the least space on a power strip or an outlet. I have this set up with a USB-C cable to plug in my tablet on one port and the other connected to a Magsafe charger. With both my phone and tablet charging from the power supply at the same time I was able to achieve a full charge of the tablet in about two and a quarter hours and phone in just under two and a half. To put that in perspective, the charger included with the tablet takes about 2 and half hours to complete a charge (with only the tablet connected) and the phone charger took roughly the same with the PD1. The phone was most likely limited by the use of the magnetic charger rather than a direct cabling, but this is my preferred method of charging. Overall, I would say that this is another excellent product from Anker and I continue to be a fan of their charging devices.

Fast charging in small form factor

The design of this wall charger is great. It’s biggest design feature is the small size. It’s only slightly larger than the size of a regular “brick” charger but supports fast charging on two devices (20w x 2) or super fast charging on one device (40w). The form factor seems perfect for travel. Personally this product will reduce the number chargers I need to bring around which will bring me closer to my minimalist goals. This device is easy to use; just plug in the charger to the wall and plug in your devices (using a USB-C cable on the charger side). This USB-C charger is effective at what it is designed to do. The two 20w ports fast charge my iPhone 12 Pro with MagSafe and my Apple Watch at the same time. I like that I also have the option to use this for fast charging with other devices like a computer or Nintendo Switch. One thing that I’ve always been concerned about with USB-C fast charging products is safety. Anker did not disappoint here. The charger has built in temperature monitoring and controls wattage output to ensure devices and the charger don’t overload. Overall, this product is great and I would highly recommend.

    Nice Tiny USB-C Charger

I've used Anker's portable power packs for years and always had good experiences with them. Choosing an Anker product when I needed a plug in charger was a no-brainer. I wanted a dual charger for travel that was capable of handling all sorts of devices and the Anker Nano Pro Duo fit the bill. After traveling with it for a week, my opinion hasn't changed. For travel, I wanted two outputs in a package that was small enough to only take up one outlet in a power strip. More outputs sounds like a great idea, but dealing with more than a couple multi-head cables is a real pain. Better to just charge at maximum speed and switch. 40 watts in a tiny package (20 watts/outlet) is really excellent, and with a good range of voltages to support different high speed charging options and devices. I have a picture showing the voltages and currents supportd. While traveling over the last week, I've a couple of phones (Android and IOS) charged, along with a Kindle, a tablet, and a Chromebook. Additionally, it worked well on a friend's MacBook Air. It even performed emergency (slow_ recharging of a Window laptop when the owner forgot the power pack, enough to get the presentation off the device. The Anker Nano Pro is a great choice for a travel charger, or just a replacement charger. The only downside is that the two prong (non-polarized) plug doesn't fold into the unit, which means you have to be a little careful and can't just throw it into a bag with your devices. I salvaged an old plastic plug protector from a 110 power cable that comes with every desktop to cover it. The Anker Nano Pro Duo certainly didn't disappoint. It's kind of hard to be effusive about a product that just works and does everything they said it would, but it does so much so well. Well recommended!

The Perfect Dual USB C Fast Charging Wall Charger

Ever since I discovering Anker a couple years ago, I've built quite the collection of Anker charging plugs and cables. This Dual USB C 40W plug solved an issue, where I needed to charge two new Apple Watch Series 7 with the newer USB C cables each needing a 20W charger for fast charging. I only had the space for one charging plug. And since it's Anker, I knew in advance it would do what I needed perfectly. This USB C charger offers high speed charging, universal compatibility, is compact and as are all Anker products, is certified safe and uses Anker's MultiProtect safety system to ensure anything plugged in is safe and fully protected. Anker products come with a 12-month parts and labor warranty, not that I think you'll ever need to try that out. I've NEVER had a single issue with anything I've gotten from Anker. There really isn't much else to say other than when you find a brand which makes consistently exceptional product's engineered to charge our electronics, it's a no-brainer to continue using them over and over.

I've purchased a few Anker products in the past and since then, pretty much every charging dock, cable, etc, that I own are Anker brand. I've been in need of a really good wall charger that has more than one USB-C port on it for a while now. Enter this new Nano Pro! I love it! I use it in my gaming/media room and I keep two USB-C cables attached at all times. These are used for various things, from charging my PS5 and Xbox Series X controllers if/when the batteries get low during use to plugging my 2021 iPad Pro 12.9" in for either a quick charge or a steady charge if I'm watching Twitch, YouTube, whatever. It's not failed me in any way and charges with the best of them! If you're in need of a fantastic charger for a great price, even beating out the "larger" brands, go for anything made by Anker! I recommend their stuff for all my friends and family members.

All in one USB C chargers are now highly sought after after becoming industry standard,I like to stick with one brand and Anker is that brand since day one. Their track record speaks for itself. Now that a majority of devices are using usb type c you don't have to carry a plethora of proprietary chargers anymore. I'm so glad those days are behind us those times were a hassle. That being said let's jump into my review. I have a bunch of devices that use USB type c such as my laptops, Chromebook, tablet, mobile phone, gaming devices like my switch. While they all have different power requirements 40W seems to be the sweet spot for me. It is a power brick and it works as it should. What is important to note is YOU MUST buy quality type c cables to take advantage of the advertised speeds. Not all cables are created equally I opted to also get a pair of anker brand type c braided cables for the best results. I was able to super fast charge my Galaxy Z fold 3 in an hour, my HP Chromebook in less than an hour and 10 minutes with the battery being nearly depleted, my HP Evo laptop in less than 2 hours, my Nintendo switch in less than an hour as well. :::Pros & Cons::: Pros: - small form factor - supports quick charging - inexpensive - 40W is plenty of power to charge most devices Cons: - couldn't find any ::: General thoughts::: I've used this product for a few days and I can't use the default chargers because this is just a much better product than what most devices include a perfect example of this is my Tab S7 it didn't include a quick charger you need to purchase one separately. And the Switch includes just one charging cable which is atrached to the dock. Despite charging a bunch of devices this power brick never was hot to the touch I was amazed by that. This is an example of a perfect product. The only way to make it better is by making a model with more ports and higher charging capacity but those exist already. ::TL;DR If you need a small form factor charging brick then pick this one up it'll charge pretty much anything that supports USB C. One of these in your bag will save you from carrying so many chargers.

This little baby is one of the crown jewels of my charger addicifion. Dual 20w ports ebsures im never in red on any of my devices. Being able to also simultaneously charge two things is a game changer. It does get a little warm to rhe touch but nothing to cause concern. Despite folding prongs, this is still a no brainer based on performance and its compact size
