I would be great if they make it reliable. I'm not surprised people complain about it shut down in the middle of charging.

I am using this to power two HomePod mini’s and it works like a charm. Fairly compact and just works. It is a little expensive, but hoping that means it will last a long time.

Great Charger Since None From Apple
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Anker - Powerport III Nano Pro Duo 40W Fast Wall Charger is an excellent charger for all your Apple and USB Type C devices. Since Apple decided to not include a charger with their new cell equipment, Anker has filled in the gap with a product worth every dime! It now powers my iPhone, iPad and Macbook Air with ease. It has no cables with it, but all these devices at least had the cables. But it isn't limited to just Apple devices; It has PowerIQ that adjust to whatever device you are charging. It is a bit of a misnomer that it is always 40 watt output; that is it's max. If you use both ports (it has two) at the same time, each port is then divided to 20 watts each (which still matches many other companies single output). It has multiple safety features to keep your equipment safe (Power Tuner, Temp Sensor, etc) and is as small as two Apple 20w chargers stacked together. The prongs do not fold, but at this size, it kind of doesn't matter. It is glossy silver and white with a little heft to it, giving it a premium look and feel. Charging times are really fast on all my devices, much quicker than competing products. In fact, this by itself will replace all the other chargers that I used before. Only the Macbook's charger gets to stay on the counter. Everyone else is going in a drawer somewhere. Save some money and headaches, get this Anker Nano Pro charger. It is truly worth it's weight!

It charged my Iphone and my apple watch. The evening of January 27, 2022 I noticed it was not charging my items. I looked at my receipt and the last day I could have returned it was January 26, 2022! Imagine that! I did not get a warranty on it because it was only $35! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM!

If possible, please try the following steps to see if the issue persists:
- Let the charger sit for 5 min without being plugged into the outlet and without anything plugged into the charger itself. This resets the charger and might solve the issue.
- Try another cable and a different outlet.
- Try charging a different device.
