I recently purchased the Anker PowerPort PD 60W GaN Fast Charger and USB-C to C Cable 6ft in White with high hopes of finding a reliable charging solution for my MacBook and mobile devices. However, my experience with this product has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. To begin with, the charging performance of the PowerPort PD 60W GaN Fast Charger has been inconsistent at best. While it claims to provide fast charging capabilities, I have found that it often fails to deliver the promised charging speeds. Even when using the charger solely for my MacBook, it takes noticeably longer to charge compared to the original charger that came with the device. This inconsistency in charging speed is not only inconvenient but also defeats the purpose of investing in a fast charger. Moreover, the build quality of both the charger and the USB-C to C cable leaves much to be desired. The charger feels flimsy and lacks the sturdiness one would expect from a device in this price range. The USB-C to C cable, while advertised as a 6ft cable, is prone to tangling and has shown signs of wear and tear after only a short period of use. This lack of durability raises concerns about the longevity of the product and its ability to withstand regular day-to-day usage. It works. I have only had this for a month at the time of review. For the price I wasn’t blown away. It won’t charge some devices. Unsure if it is the charger or devices. I may come back and re-review later.

Overpriced hunk o' junk. Anker products are so overrated and overpriced. Steer clear.

Like everyone, I've purchased many chargers through the years and in the past I have tended to just buy whatever was the cheapest. I've learned that it ends up being cheaper in the long run to buy a better quality charger (faster, too) and pay a bit more. I think I own 7-8 chargers made by Anker and every one has performed admirably and I have not had a single one fail, something I can't say about the cheap chargers I have to replace often. Works to charge your Macbook even, so overall this is a great purchase.

I am delighted with this device. I bought it to replace the charger that came with my HP laptop after the cord became damaged and the wires began separating from the charger, exposing them and creating a perilous and hazardous situation. I have replaced two HP chargers in 6 months, and this one is durable, and the cord can be replaced without buying an entirely new charger. The protective covering of the wires came off, and the cables disconnected themselves from the charger after 3 months of everyday use. The cord appears to be the standard cord shipped with HP computers, sold for up to $ 2,000.00. I am highly annoyed and disappointed by the laptop and charger issues that are still not fixed or addressed, even after being reported to HP.

I think I've bought 3 of these now. I use them to fast charge stuff and even power laptops that take usb-c. Having an extra power source lets me leave my original power cord at my desk. I plug one of these into the inverter in my car and run my laptop on the go. Except my wife steals them. Life isn't perfect.

I was traveling and had forgotten the power source for my laptop. Went to Best Buy and found the Anker PowerPort. It's terrific! It's powerful, compact (more than the source that I forgot at home!!) and flexible. I love it and highly recommend it to anyone would needs a portable computer power source.

This is a great buy. I travelled with out my laptop charger & found this at a Best Buy in Indiana & this save the day. I was able to work remotely & it powered up my laptop just fine. It was also an open box buy which made the deal even sweeter. This will be my new travel charger. Definitely recommend.

A bit pricey for these crazy things - but that’s not on Best Buy. It is a very fast charger and has many connection options. I like the weight, feel and materials of the device. I’m happy w it. I was on a trip and brought the wrong charger for my computer so was sad to have to fork out the $$$ but relieved Best Buy had it in stock and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful!

This charger is AWESOME! I am SO grateful that the Best Buy employee recommended it for my laptop...AND I can charge both my phone & computer at the same time if needed! The size is nice...much less cumbersome than the traditional black "clunky" laptop chargers. Great for travel too!
