Doesn’t get hot and I’ve had no issues fast charging my new Apple Watch 7. I can go from about 40% to fully charged in about 35 minutes or so. This makes it possible to actually sleep with my watch on. I’m not saying you can’t sleep wearing the watch, without it, but I’m more comfortable waking up the next morning and still having 85% battery. Great buy and it was suggested by a Best Buy’s associate.
