I bought it for a 10-hr road trip. One hour into the trip, the station I had originally tuned to no longer worked. I couldn't fuss with it because I was driving and it was plugged into the only available power source on my dash, which is under the dash on the passenger side. It would have been a safety hazard to try and re-tune. I'm fairly certain I would have been better off putting a little bluetooth speaker on the front seat instead of trying to play through my car radio. In terms of customer service, I missed the return window by 4 days and Best Buy kept me hanging on live chat for 10 minutes to eventually tell me that they couldn't extend the return period for this, even though the 3-month extended holiday return period had started just 7 days after I bought my item. This adds "boo" to my "hiss".

It's pretty well made and feels durable as if it would last a long time however this was unfortunately not the case. Within a couple of months, the transmitter started skipping every minute to two making it virtually unusable.

However, it didn't work well. Purchased for a 2005 car, and all we heard was static and the faint sound of the music. Really wish it had done what it advertised. Really needed this to work.
