No static or other interference. I bought a FM transmitter years ago different brand and it was bad. These new ones out perform them without effort. The buttons even let me skip songs on my spotify. Worth the 29.99$. Works for my phone calls as well. My 2003 carolla is hands free now :)

No matter what I do I can not get reception without static and if I charge something I get more interference. I tried exchanging it and the same problem exists with the new one. was not worth the money at all.

Worked great while it worked but plugged it in today and it blew the fuse on the cigarette lighter. Replaced the fuse, and the moment I plugged it in ... popped again. Tried a 3rd time and same thing. Definitely something shorted inside the unit. My cigarette lighter is always on so I didn't want to leave it plugged in when not in use and it is normally only plugged in for an hour at a time; longest commute time. So by no means was it abused or used other than intended.

It is not ideal to take or answer calls on, and is not reliable as an FM transmitter. I find myself constantly having to change the signal due to the weak signal emitted from my transmitter. I had high hopes when I bought it as I have seen friends use different transmitters, however I am incredibly let down with this device.
