This item when tuned to a static type channel picks up and plays your iPhone with ease. If you have a older car this is for you!

I've used it her Bluetooth adapter in the past to send music from my phone to my car radio. This one has by far worked the best.

This is the first transmitter that I have that actually works without static and holds the freq. well. The USB connector is a bonus.

I have an older Camry and can't justify spending $200 upgrading to a bluetooth stereo. I came across this on sale and decided to give it a try. The first radio freq I used had too much background static. I tried a couple more but ended up at the very first frequency on my dial: 87.7 and it sounded good. The static was mostly gone but music sounded a little dull. I adjusted the equalizer on my phone a few times and music sounds much better now. Don't expect HD quality. Plan on a little experimenting with your radio dial and your phone's equalizer. You should be able to find a low-noise frequency on your radio and improve the sound a little with your equalizer. Have patience. Don't expect it to replace a quality bluetooth stereo. For less than $20, I can listen to all my rock, all my books and podcasts with pretty decent fidelity.

Bought this to replace a diff brand one that stuck out further and almost every time I shifted, my hand would hit it and change what I was listening to (very frustrating). This has a much lower profile and I never hit it. I'm not sure, but I think the sound is better than the other brand.

If you find an empty station, you have a gem .. mine went in and out and it was nerve racking.. I need to find someone who knows more to the part of finding a radio station, for it to hear clearer

I have always despised FM transmitters, sound always bad and full of static, BUT then this one came along. At first I programmed it to the channel on the display and it was full of static and not good at all, then and THIS IS IMPORTANT, i turned the radio to an area that was just white noise and then prgrammed the FM transmitter to that same station and BOOM it sounded crystal clear as if I was playing it through Bluetooth. This is the fist FM transmitter that actually works! I needed one for my work car as they don't have any Bluetooth or AUX jacks in them, this was the perfect solution. You have to take the time to find the white noise station on your radio then match the channel on the transmitter to have perfect sound. Finally an FM transmitter that works well !! I am a harsh critic too, but this gets 5 stars !

Works well in city. Just pick free channel that is not next to a channel in use. Paired with iPhone in car without issue.
