Perfect for an older car with no hardwired support

It works exactly as expected. FM transmission means that the sound quality isn't top notch, but on the other hand the ROAV was much less expensive than the hardwired bluetooth unit I used in another vehicle (no hardwired option was available for this particular car). I highly recommend it.

I experience whining noises whenever I use the USB port which charges very slowly. If the phone isn't plugged in the sound is really good. I've seen where people complain about not being able to shut off the Bluetooth but you can by holding down the button until the screen shuts off but it continues charging. To turn it back on I just unplug and replug it. I like it and I'd recommend it but at least it should contain a fast charger.

Surprisingly good for the price

You need to set a specific FM frequency and tune your radio to that. Connect the phone to your ROAV via bluetooth and you can listen to good quality music. It can play havoc sometimes since the bluetooth is on even when the car is off. As soon as you move near the car, the bluetooth will get connected and disrupt your existing conversation in case you are talking on another wireless headset. Other than that a great accessory for the price.

Simple to use

This solves that problem. The "FM channel connection" is horrible because of too many stations in my area. I connect via Bluetooth and it is great.

Works good with older vehicles
