Comfy earbuds, great quality, with extra features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the original Anker Soundcore Liberty Air a few years ago, and they were great. The phone app wasn't bad either. It was easy to use. So now we're on the Liberty 5 Pro Max. This is a lot more capable than my previous Soundcore headset. First off, the noise cancelling is really good in these. The earbuds also fit comfortably. It comes with a total of five silicone tips. The smallest size is XXS. And the largest is large. What's pre-installed is Medium, and they fit my ears just fine. It also has what they call ear fins, which come with a total of three. It looks like it's just small, medium, large in terms of height, and what's pre-installed is the medium one. Although they don't call it small, medium, large, they use numbers. 0 and 2 are what's in the package, and I'm assuming 1 is what's pre-installed. There are three sound settings: noise cancellation, adaptive, normal, transparency. There's even wind noise reduction, so if you're riding your bike or you're running, it will reduce that with noise. They have a feature called here ID. Where you can use preset sound profiles. They have Soundcore signature, clear vocals, powerful bass, and calm and soothing. You could also create your own custom sound profiles. It also supports Dolby Audio with two options: fixed or head tracking. When you enable head tracking, whenever you turn your head, the sound kind of fades if your ear is away from the device. One of my favorite features is Find Device. What's unique about this feature, unlike previous headsets that I've had, is the earbuds make noise, not just the case. It starts off low and increases in volume. I think that is very helpful when trying to look for your earbuds or charging case. These can also connect to 2 devices. It says you could connect to 3, but it may cause unstable connections or audio stuttering. Another cool feature is you can set different shortcuts or controls per earbud. For instance, on your left earbud, if you double press, you can play the next song. On the right earbud, you could double press and you could either play or pause the song, and they're all customizable. The sliding up and down for volume is really responsive also. It does have smart voice control, and it uses their own AI. The voice command supports multiple languages from English, Deutsch, and Chinese. Now, for the charging case, I really like the display. It's big and intuitive. It shows you the battery life for the charging case and each earbud. It's very light and easy to pair. I had to install a firmware update already, and the screen was helpful during the installation. What I did notice is it's not as responsive when I'm swiping through different menus. It is much quicker than opening up the app whenever I need to change sound profiles. The charging case is very light. I briefly played around with the real-time translation. I believe it uses Anka, which is their AI engine. It's okay. I started speaking in Filipino and used slang words. It did not understand it. I would have thought, being that it's AI, it could search and translate it, but it did not. However, speaking in traditional dialect, it does an okay job. You must have the phone app open, but you could use your headset as a microphone, so when you speak into it, it will translate it. You could show the phone app to the person you're trying to communicate with, or you could also show the charging case screen because it will also show the translation there. But you will need to have the phone nearby with the app open. There is an AI note taker, but the free version is limited to 120 minutes per month. Up to 24 months, beyond that you would have to pay. It starts at $15.99 per month, and you get up to 1,200 minutes monthly. I don't see myself using this feature. The phone case also has built-in storage to save AI notes and such. It will sync it to your phone's storage. The headsets do not disappoint. I really like it. The sound quality is great. The noise cancelling is great. All the other features are a bonus. I just don't know about the AI stuff.

Cool in-ears with some awesome features.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first headset with a screen on the actual case. I was skeptical because I didn not think I would really use it. Meaning I have many other in ears with different sized cases, but I never thought I needed a screen on any of them. Well, here is Anker to prove me wrong! The box to this is very minimal. To get the best use out of these bad boys is to download the companion app. You can scan the QR code in the package or search for it in your respective store. I used the Google Play store, myself. It downloaded fine. Before charging it, I paired it up with my Google Pixel 9 using Android 17 betas. To pair all you need to do is to open the case by sliding it up. You can put your phone into search mode, by my Pixel automatically found it and paired it in about three seconds. Before even listening to the earphones, I played with the case and it's features. You can add specific widgets and take away some that you do not see yourself using. I went ahead and put the AI note taking and also the translator. I then put the stock sized, Medium earbuds to see how it fit and for me, it fit perfect. I then added a personal wallpaper to the case and I have to say the lag is there but its hardly noticeable. Also the case is plenty bright. I did not mess with the brightness of the case at all. I think it comes medium brightness out of the box. I then tried the different modes in the apps EQ and ended up using the Soundcore EQ preset along with the AI sound stage. I opted for this and not LDAC because I would lose some features l like. You will need to pick and choose your personal preferences there. In testing the AI note taker, it actually works pretty well in transcribing, but I found the translator function more impressive in my case. There are preset languages the case app have, but in the app, you have additional options to choose from. For me I chose traditional Chinese Cantonese and it translates pretty darn well! I then finally turned on some music to see how they sound and I was not dissappointed. No they will not rock your socks off, but for the price, it's up there. Especially with the ANC on. Transparency is pretty good and you can tell it's a bit tinny like you expect, but it's not horrible. There is also an adaptive ANC too, which works pretty well. But for me, these are the perfect airplane earbuds. They shut out most of the noise and the bass sounds pretty good to. Soundcore has done a great job for my usage and preferences. Would I recommend these? YES! Oh I did forget to mention to charge, you can plug in the normal USB C cable. But you can wirelessly charge them as well! Also off the charger, it retains it's battery. Last time I had it off the charger for 5 days and it was still at 100%. Also the case has indicators of the case and each ear bud battery levels. For a great at a glance feature, that alone is worth the screen on the case.

Loaded with useful features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Soundcore earbuds are not your ordinary earbuds; they are loaded with a lot of cool features, like AI note-taking and face-to-face translation. In the package, you will find a charging case, a charging cable, and different-sized ear tips. Once you power on the case, you will see a nice, clear touchscreen display. I have not seen anything like this, and I have owned a lot of earbuds, but these stand out from them all. From the case display, you can adjust all the features offered, like ambient sound, music control, sound control, and many more. The earbuds are precise when using the earbud controls, which can be customized to your liking using the Soundcore app. The Bluetooth connectivity was, in my opinion, super annoying. You have to connect both the earbuds and the case separately. If one isn’t connected, then the other one doesn’t work, if that makes sense. Although these come with different-sized ear tips, I did encounter issues with the earbuds falling out. I used them while I was doing yard work, and it was pretty hot, so I was sweating everywhere. They kept popping out, and of course, one completely fell off, which was a bit upsetting. The app is necessary in this case since these earbuds have AI note-taking. All of your notes are stored in the app, which you can manage there, generate a transcription, or create an AI summary. I tried recording notes with the earbuds on, but the voice recording was not clear, so I took them off and did it with the case, using it as a microphone. That made a huge difference, and the voice recording was clear and easy to understand. The face-to-face translation is also a very cool feature, but it won’t work unless you are connected to the app. It has a lot of languages to choose from, and the translation is right on point. The ANC really submerges you into a whole other world. It’s like it’s just you and whatever you are listening to, which is great for relaxation. All the other options are great, and the sound quality is crystal clear, even at its loudest setting. Another great feature is being able to use the case as a remote camera controller. You can also customize the wallpaper by uploading your favorite image. Soundcore really delivers amazing earbuds with great features that can be useful for many students and people who love to travel. With its translation feature and many other tools, these earbuds are great for just about anybody who wants a cool pair of earbuds

Excellent Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This review is on a Soundcore by Anker - Liberty 5 Pro Max True Wireless Noise Cancelling Bluetooth In-Ear Earbuds. I got these because I have to take notes during team meetings. It is not quite what I need though. I need it to be able to record audio coming through the earbuds. It will only record and transcribe audio that the mic picks up. Maybe a future update can change this. It does do a fantastic job at recording and transcribing external audio. I find that it is pretty accurate. It will save the recorded session to your phone and AI will give it pretty good titles. You can then select the recording and it will break the conversations up into speakers. You can listen to the recording and click on the speaker to give it the name of who is talking and it will assign that name to the correct speaker. You can also edit at any time any of the transcription if you wish. When recording you can tap the flag to give you quick links to important moments. It will also give you an intelligent summary of the recording. Setup was easy. You only connect to the case and it will add the earbuds as a separate device. The screen on the case looks as good as a cell phone. You can change the picture it displays to your own photo. All the functions can be controlled through the case or the app. Charging is super fast and lasted about 3 hours under my conditions. The earbuds fit snug in the case by magnet and feel comfortable in my ears once I placed on the right size tip. I have other ANC headsets but this is the first set that actually works for me. You get used to all the noise around you and don't think about it. Then when you turn on ANC it is remarkable. Sound quality is great with good bass. There are many options to change such as Dolby Audio, AI sound enhancement, curated sound effects like clear vocals, and custom equalizer settings. During setup it will play music and ask you which sound you like better between two choices. It will continue this until it comes up with an equalizer customized to your liking. They can be controlled with a touch or with voice commands too. To my surprise it includes free calm content. There are a lot of choices here from sleep stories, meditations, brainwave audio, snore masking, white noise and tinnitus masking. This is probably my favorite part of the earbuds. I would recommend getting a pair if you are looking for a new set of earbuds.

Incredible Earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using the Soundcore by Anker Liberty 5 Pro Max True Wireless Noise Canceling Bluetooth In-Ear Earbuds, and they are amazing. The sound is crisp, clear, and very enjoyable whether I am listening to music, taking calls, or using them throughout the day. One of my favorite features is the battery life. I can use the earbuds for about 2 days without needing to charge them, and the battery lasts up to 48 hours, which is very convenient. The noise cancellation is also excellent. The adaptive noise canceling adjusts to my surroundings in real time and helps reduce background distractions in places like offices, streets, and other busy environments. This makes it easier for me to stay focused and enjoy my audio without interruption. I also really like the advanced AI features. The AI note-taking feature is very useful for meetings, classes, and interviews because it can transcribe conversations in real time and create summaries with key action items. This helps me stay organized and makes it easier to keep track of important information. The 1.78-inch AMOLED touchscreen on the charging case is another impressive feature. I like being able to control settings, adjust noise cancellation, and access tools like the AI voice recorder without always needing to reach for my phone. The ability to personalize the case with custom wallpapers is also a nice touch. Call quality is clear as well. The multiple sensors and Thus AI chip help isolate my voice, so I sound clear in both quiet and noisy settings. I also appreciate HearID 5.0 for creating a personalized sound profile that makes the audio feel more balanced and tailored to my preferences. The built-in voice commands are convenient for skipping tracks, answering calls, and adjusting the volume hands-free, even without an internet connection. Overall, the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max earbuds are excellent. They offer clear sound, strong battery life, effective noise cancellation, smart AI features, and a very useful touchscreen charging case. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality wireless earbuds with advanced features and great everyday performance.

Great TWS earbuds with a useful case!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Anker (through it’s soundcore sub-brand) has been on a roll of producing solid earbuds that have great sound and innovative additional features - and this particular set (their flagship Liberty model) is a great example of both of those things. The earbuds themselves are VERY comfortable even in longer wearing sessions and the sounds stage is astonishingly deep for how small they are - audio is rich and spoken words are very clear particularly once you turn on the top notch ANC (which also makes them great for use during flights, if you’re a traveler). The microphones likewise pick up very clear sound with excellent noise cancellation for ambient sound. The battery life is good and if you need there are multiple options for ear pieces to help customize the fit. The case - which is usually an afterthought - might actually be the star of the show though. Of course it protects and charges the earbuds, but this case is where most of the innovation is in this particular model. The case has a bright AMOLED screen on it that can do all sorts of useful things. First, it’s a great EASY way to set up / pair / control the earbuds - much easier than a weird set of taps / holds / beeps on other earbuds. This is particularly useful if you’re setting any advanced features, including the multi-device pairing feature. It also displays useful information like battery levels and whatnot. But the case here goes even further than that. The case itself pairs to your phone and has microphones inside. That allows the case to be used as a voice capture device for an AI note taker (which actually works fairly well), a super useful thing to have with you in lectures / seminars / meetings / etc. The transcripts seem very accurate (though a subscription is required of course) and it’s great to always have such a thing with you without having to carry another device around. So if you want a flagship set of earbuds with all the bells and whistles - and even a few innovative new features in the trick case - this could be just the exact set you’re looking for. Give it a try today!

A Solid Win for a Anker Soundcore
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Between kids drops offs, morning workouts or hikes, calls with customer, business trips and just every day stuff I’ve gone through a dozen different pairs of earbuds over the last few years. This is solid win for Anker Soundcore. This is honestly one of the best I've used. Pros • Surprising Audio & ANC: The sound quality is absolutely fantastic. Deep and rich sounds quality. The Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) performs way better than I expected. It completely cuts out the background chaos when I need to focus on a spreadsheet. Ive used these on the plane and it blocks out a good amount of background noise. • The Smart Case: Having a responsive touch screen right on the case is incredibly useful. I can quickly toggle ANC profiles or check exact battery percentages without having to pull out my phone. Also managing different devices that’s connected to the ear buds or case. Its extremely useful. • Fit, feel & Battery: They hit the mark here. The fit is lightweight and comfortable enough for hours of wear (hiking, gym, meetings, plane ride) and the battery life with case can easily survives a heavy work day or travel. Con • Work-In-Progress AI: The case is great when it works. (95% of the time its working) The AI features just aren't fully baked yet. You have to create an account with their app to use all the feature. Not really what I want to do. The automatic acoustic adjustments can feel a bit unpolished and jumpy, but when it works its good. My guess it's going to need a few more firmware updates to reach its full potential. The Bottom Line: If you’re like me a looking for great value earbuds who wants top-tier sound, great noise cancellation, and a clever charging case, these are a fantastic investment.

surprisingly good
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was wary of these earbuds because of their product picture. They looked to me like they would fit awkwardly and jut out from my ears. They actually fit perfectly and don't protrude any more than other earbuds - and less than some. They're very light and well balanced and remain secure despite being jostled by different types of cardio workouts and being brushed when toweling off sweat. Anker also seems to have found a simple solution to a problem that has plagued me with other touch-sensitive earbuds: accidentally pausing my music or turning off ANC when I accidentally brush them with a sweaty towel during a workout. All that was required is to make the touch controls programmable, and make the default action for a single touch... nothing. It's much less likely that you will accidentally give them a double inadvertent touch - though I have managed to do it once. I have accidentally turned the volume up or down on these, but that's much less annoying than an accidental pause or turning off noise cancelling. The sound on these is also stunningly good. Way more bass than I expected, and audio quality that is just as good as the buds I use from a brand more associated with audiophiles. The noise cancelling is also outstanding. I took a call while I was at the gym, and neither I nor the caller could hear any background noise. The app gives you even more customization and features, and most of those features can also be accessed through the touchscreen on the case, if you don't happen to have your phone handy but for some reason are carrying the case with you. These are now my go-to pair of workout earbuds, and I don't expect that to change anytime soon.

Wow!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using Anker products for many years now and they have noticeably upped their game and are now leading the industry in the product ranges that they participate in I started out using the Anker external batteries since they were feature rich on a budget. Their products just worked without unnecessary features to break Now their audio products are doing the same but also leading the industry with sound and noise canceling ability The Liberty 5 Pro Max Wireless headphones are (in my opinion) the best wireless earbud headphones available on the market...at any price Starting off with the packaging and unboxing. Attractive packaging and sufficient to project the product without much waste Connection was simple and quick. You have connected bluetooth devises before, so you are already a pro The sound with the factory settings was superb, but of course I used the app to fine tune to my preferences. Music was very clear and calls resulted without the static and echo. On the other end, I was told that any background noise (wind included) was silenced The case is not just to store and charge the headphones, but it has a AI powered note taking service that seemed pretty cool. Since that was not the purpose of this purchase, I just confirmed that it worked, then moved on. I will be using it to control the headset at a later date So in summary, these really are state of the art bluetooth headphones for call clarity and noise cancelation

M favorite product of all time!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love these Anker Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Max headphones. These have quickly become my favorite headphone of all time. Anytime I reach for a pair, it always ends up being these ones! I love the sound quality. they sound so crisp. the noise cancelling it truly amazing. I brought them on a fight recently. If you know anything about the background noise, it can be very loud. with these, I almost forgot how loud it could be. It knocked all the sound out!! I also love that you can change the background screen on the case. I set it as a nice family photo and now I know which are mine the only con I have for the case is that it slips open pretty easy. meaning, when I throw it in my purse, it will occasionally open just slightly and my phone will sync to it and all of a suddenly I'm stuck in Bluetooth. I have also had a fun time exploring the AI features and translation. My daughter and I had a good time speaking to each other in Spanish and having it translate. I will also say that the ear pieces are very comfortable and that you can change out the top flap for a larger or smaller size which is convenient! all in all I highly recommend!!!

Great sound, packed full of tons of features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great sound and tons of functionality. I wear earbuds constantly, in all sorts of environments. At home while doing chores around the house, out side while doing yard work and all day at work in an automotive shop. And let me tell you, these are comfortable. Zero ear pain or fatigue. The sound quality is amazing. Deep rich bass, clean clear mids and crystal clear highs. They have a fully adjustable EQ that can be controlled by the case or by the downloaded app. The active noise canceling is pretty decent except with very loud sharp noises like metal on metal banging. As a automotive technician this is the primary kind of sounds that are often around me. Its not a huge issue to turn it off and just hear the noise just muffled. For every other environment I have had them in the ANC works very well. There is a translation feature I have yet to use but im sure will come in handy. Battery life is pretty good especially for the very compact size. They however charge very quickly once put into the case. I really like these earbuds and all of the features, I reach for these more than any of my other sets, they are that good. If youre in the market I definitely would pick these up before the majority of others on the market. Good job Anker good job

Great value earbuds
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are some of the best true wireless earbuds under $250 MSRP in my honest opinion. Soundcore has been making very solid earbuds for a while now at various price points. This is their newest in the liberty’s pro series with the max being a new variant. This adds a larger screen and a feature which allows you to make voice notes on the case that connects to their app. These are very feature rich pair of earbuds. It also goes away from that AirPod stem style which I never loved. These feature Active noice cancelling, LDAC support, EQ customization and the note taking feature to name some of them. My only issue with these earbuds is the battery life. They quote 6.5 hours and 28 with the case with ANC on. Other earbuds with ANC offer better battery life these days. With LDAC on it’s worse. I’ve lost anround 10+ with LDAC on so I can’t imagine it would last longer than 4 or 5 but it’s fine. Also this supports Dolby Audio with head tracking as well. It also offer multipoint connection with three devices as well. Those are good to have as well.
