Tap the right ear bud x times to do this, tap the left ear bud x times to do that. You basically end up tapping them many times while simply placing them in your ears. Which was a little too much for my mom, who basically just wanted to use them to talk on her phone. I tried them out and prefer my Bose sport wireless buds. These were returned.
