My son wanted this movie so I bought it for him. Scary scenes every so often but decent movie

Unlike its predecessor, this Annabel is a fun horror experience worthy of the Conjuring connection. It’s the light at the end of the boring Annabel tunnel. It’s only sin is being sequel (well I guess prequel) to such a bad movie and teasing “the nun”, more spin off trash.

We love scary movies and this addition to the Annabelle collection does keep the screams coming. It is a great story line and very believable. The reason I give it a four is because Annabelle in the Conjuring and the overlap story lines are confussing. Still a great movie and you don't need to watch the previous Annabelle movie to understand this one.

Part of the conjuring universe movies, this one gets more in depth with the story.

This movie gives us the beginning of Annabelle, but this made my skin crawl once you see the direction it goes! Great directing, great acting, and a development that brings the story to life!

This was a lot slow but it’s from the Conjuring Universe I had to see it.

The origins/prequel story to the Annabelle movie that came out a few years ago. This movie improves upon that movie in every way and is easily on par with the other Conjuring movies. One of the best horror movies in recent years! If you like the Conjuring, you'll like this movie.

I got this movie because I have all the other Conjuring movies and it was on sale. The movie gives it's origin of the doll in the series. It is scary and creepy and I like how it fills out the whole Conjuring universe with a slight glimpse of the Nun. Fans of the series know what I am talking about. Good movie.

These folks who do the conjuring series are on the right track. This movie has a few jump scares, but where it really shines is the suspense and dread. I liken it to the exorcist or alien films, just showing enough through out the film to really get under your skin.

If you enjoyed the Conjuring 1 and 2, this will be right up your alley. Much, much better than annabelle 1, although they are connected so if you haven't seen annabelle, I would recommend at least reading a summary of the plot. Same writer as It - I'm a fan.

It’s worth a watch and fairly well done but nothing new.

I have watched the Conjuring and Conjuring 2 and thought those were pretty solid horror movies. When I saw the previews for the first Annabelle, I was pretty stoked to see another movie related to the first two, but focusing on that creepy doll. I was hugely disappointed when I seen it though. Then I seen the previews for "Annabelle: Creation" and had some high hopes for this one. It is a vastly better movie that the first one, but the previews showed the best parts of the film. It is not a bad movie by any means, but not a classic either. Overall, it did hold my interest all the way through and I would recommend giving it a watch.

I wasn't the biggest fan of the first Annabelle movie but I was really interested in seeing this movie because of the director. I liked his first movie, Lights Out, and I really enjoyed this one. He did a fantastic job and he made me anticipate his next movie!

Time to make another and another and well you get the point

It all started with the "Conjuring" story set in an old New England house in Rhode Island. Who could think this story line wouldn't be scary. This movie is a must have for supernatural buffs and a definite in this collection starting with the "Conjuring".

This is a great horror movie, and a welcome addition to the Conjuring universe. Everyone involved in this movie did a great job, especially Talitha Eliana Bateman, as well as Lulu Wilson (but she did a much greater performance in Ouija: Origin of Evil).

I enjoyed the first movie and the second is nothing more than a prequel as to the origin of the doll...More importantly at the very end when the credits are rolling you see that scary Nun from the Conjuring 2 movie so it all ties together...The next movie will be about that Nun....awsome..

I’m a huge fan of the series and Annabelle is up there in my top favorite possession films. Her actions and appearance give off the creepiest feeling. It will definitely make you look twice at any dolls you many have laying around.

This was one of the best movies. My son and I were hanging onto each other through most of it and I let go of a few expletives while watching. If your kid has nightmares I don't recommend letting them watch. Otherwise, prepare to be scared.

Annabelle Creation seems like the type of movie to dismiss. A prequel to a mediocre horror film, Annabelle Creation has some technical skill, throwback scares and a director seemingly inspired to do a good job in the face of low expectations. It's better than you would expect
