i have no issues with this unit. i use it at least 2-3 times a week. looking to purchase another.

Give yourself plenty of time to use this. A 45 minute poached egg is the best ever. Use the app to set the timer.

This is a great Sous Vide machine. Together with the App and online recipes it's easy to use and very versatile.

Been waiting for an affordable home version for this style of cooking. After purchase the first night and 3 other times we used this to cook for 10+ people all in the first week.

Solid and simple to use. Have not used the Bluetooth feature though. Haven't had the need.

I heard good things about cooking via sous-vide so I thought I would give this a try. There are some good advantages such as cooking cuts of the same type of meat differently based on the individual tastes of family members, i.e. placing lemon pepper chicken and spicy chicken breasts in different bags but using the same immersion bath. There is also the minimal clean up needed afterwards which is nice. On the negative side though it is almost a requirement to finish off anything you cook via sous-vide either by grill or stove top. I knew this would be needed in some instances such as steak or pork for example but I hoped to get away without doing this using chicken. Unfortunately the family did not care for the texture of the chicken without finishing it up on stove top or grill so that's one step you almost always have to do if you're hoping for simplicity. Most of the cook times are fairly lengthy so this probably isn't the product you're looking for if cooking meals quickly is a requirement, although to be fair the sous-vide bath doesn't requirement much attention once it is started. I think in the end this is a good product in certain scenarios but isn't going to be something I will be using on daily or semi-daily basis going forward.
