Its good at making steak. Medium rare pan seared to finish is the way to go.

I've used it 3 times now. It worked great the first two times and then on the third time, started randomly turning off. Eventually, it stayed on long enough to do the full cook. Other than that issue, it has been great.

I takes a lil while to get up to temperature (15 minutes or so to get water temperature to 130 degrees). It does however will maintain your temperature setting to within a degree or so. Overall good product.
