After 10 months of buying it, it no longer works well

Weak suction, weak seal, expensive. Makes vacuum sealing a hassle

Vacuuming leaves pockets of air and sealing function only works intermittently.

I returned it. If I had been allowed to open the box in the store I would not have bought it.

Either i received the lemon or it is NOT a good brand - after two uses - the vacuum/seal option stopped working.

Does not create seal . Do not buy, waste of money .

There are cheaper sealers out there, but they have mixed reviews. The cheaper sealers on Amazon may have 5 star reviews but if you look closely it appears that the companies give some kind of perk for leaving a 5 star review. This sealer is middle of the road pricing but I think it’s worth paying a little more to get this sealer. It got a great seal every time on chicken breasts, ground beef, short ribs, and pork chops. This has been perfect during the pandemic where sometimes you don’t always get the best selections. It says it will keep meat fresh for up to two years but I would hope I would never have a piece of meat in the freezer that long! I recommend for really juicy meats like chicken to pat them down with a paper towel before sealing - the juice will ruin the seal and make a mess. I also recommend buying a roll of bags with this sealer as it only comes with 10 and they go fast!

Broke within 6 months, bought another it broke within a year.

Anova has a reputation for quality products, and this vacuum sealer is no exception. Works very well and the price is reasonable. I quickly used all the included bags and switched over to Food Saver bulk roll bags with zero issues.

My daughter gave me this as a gift. It’s a great product. It is easy to operate, seals, and vacuum at the touch of a button. It is light weight and easy to store. I seal everything, fruits, snacks, vegetables, meat, and much more. This is a great addition to my kitchen gadgets!

Great entry level vacuum sealer. I've used it several times now for sealing meats for freezer storage and it pulls a good vacuum and makes a tight seal. Going to start using it for fermentation projects too. Doesn't have any fancy bells and whistles but for the price its a unit. I did buy it on a sale too.
