Ant Man 2015 was another of those movies Marvel was taking a risk on. No one outside the hardcore comic fans knew anything about him. But just like the Guardians of the galaxy the year before I was blown away with this obscure, granted most Marvel characters are obscure to me, small character. Despite where it's ranked on other's list I think the first Ant Man is one of the best MCU movies to date. So expectations were high for the sequel. Although I can say I wasn't disappointed I can say was underwhelmed and definitely let down by how the ending completely throws away the entire film. Other than that it's a completely fine and entertaining popcorn flick. And plus the more Paul Rudd the better am I right?

You might think that there is an over saturation of the Superhero genre films. Give marvel credit, they treat the subject well and are faithful to their overall vision. The special effects are amazing, the production is wonderful and the cast is wonderful. Paul Rudd, Walter Goggins, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas and Michelle Pfeiffer seem to truly enjoy working and being on screen together. This is a great addition to the Marvel Film Universe.

Ant-Man and the Wasp is a fun sequel that improves on the first, and manages to provide a much-needed dose of levity after the heaviness of Avengers: Infinity War. It’s a, well-paced, action-packed palette cleanser for the darkness of Infinity War, and I look forward to seeing where they take the characters next.

I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. Same cast returning from the original. Just horrible timing due to being released after Infinity War, and in the grand scheme and ramifications of that movie, made this one feel underwhelming seeing it theaters. The end credits tie the events all together and that being said this movie leads the way to how Infinity War will be concluded with some of the things talked about. Plus the steelbook is gorgeous.

The quality is without question, as unless you have a 4K player, which IMO isn't worth the upgrade, then you're watching this in the best quality of picture & sound. As far as the movie is concerned, it's incredibly fun, entertaining & intense, but not as good as the first Ant-Man. The female "villain" was certainly lacking in most areas...Still highly entertaining & enjoyable, though! Highly recommend if you liked the first installment.

I love the Marvel movies in general, but the Ant-Man movies just crack me up. Paul Rudd was inspired casting for this role. While this may not be quite as good as the first one, it still takes you on a fantastic ride - literally. My favorite parts were the car chases - you never knew what was going to be coming at you. I laughed, then I cried, and then I laughed and cried at the same time. Be sure and hang around for the easter egg.

I love the Marvel movies and this one is no exception. I had no idea who Ant Man was when the first movie came out. My comic book knowledge was more of the DC characters but since Marvel brought out the movies with it's characters I'm hooked. The first Ant Man movie was funny and this one is just as well. Unfortunately some of the humor may be lost if you didn't see the first movie. I give it 5 stars and hope they make Ant Man 3.

Movie was a blast, kept the spirit and feel of the first fairly well. Though I strongly believe they could have done more and better with several characters and plot points. It wasn't bad, but was disappointing that Marvel/Disney didn't do more with what they had. Not something I say often in the MCU. Movie aside the steelbook looks great. Given the subject matter I think the simple design works fantastically well for this movie.

This is a terrific follow up to Ant-Man. If you like your Marvel Movies on the lighter side, than this is one that you will enjoy. It never takes itself to seriously, and delivers a fun action packed time. The performances from the cast are wonderful. The humor is spot on, and the action is great. The video and audio are top notch, but the supplements are on the light side. Overall though, I would definitely recommend this movie.

I would give the film on its own four stars. It is a quite entertaining Marvel film. It gets five stars due to its impressive 4K presentation. and I was able to find it online at the Black Friday $14.99 price point when it out of stock at Best Buy stores within an 80-mile radius of my home. I also promptly received my order through the mail. I can not speak for the Dolby Atmos track, because I only have a 2.1 soundbar set up.

f you like Marvel movies and/or sci-fi adventure Ant-Man and the Wasp will keep you entertained. The actors have great chemistry, the visuals are stunning, and the story keeps you rooting for the good guys. These elements are what I look for in a feature such as this. I enjoyed it very much. I look forward to sequels. You KNOW there's gonna be more. Just watch the credits ALL the way through. If you watch Marvel you know.

We love Marvel movies and this one doesn't fail. I enjoyed it more than the original Ant-Man (which I still enjoyed). Good mix of humor, action, and the Marvel magic. The 4k graphics are amazing with a good mix of vibrant colors and textures that make the 4K version worth it if you're interested. The Dolby Atmos, like almost all other Atmos content available currently, is not very impressive and leaves a lot to be desired.

Ant-Man and the Wasp steel book is awesome. The steel book features the two main characters Ant-Man and the Wasp. On the front of the cover it shows the Wasp shrinking big to small. On the back it shows Ant-Man shrinking big to small. Love the effect!!! The inside of the Steel book is them flying together. The whole steel book is amazing!!! Marvel & Disney outdone themselves. A great piece to add to my collection!!!!

They've done a great job with both of these Ant-Man movies. The story has a good pace and the humor is well placed and not distracting. Though it ties in with the rest of the MCU, the action and story keep you involved and any clues to how it fits would require a second viewing, as it is engrossing enough and stands so well on its own that there's no downtime to ponder it as a piece in the larger external story arc.

I really seem to be getting into and enjoying almost all of the Marvel movies. I did have to watch this one twice to fully understand it. I really enjoy the way in which they mix comedy, action and great special effects together. For the most part the special effects are excellent. The 4k version was crisp, clean and colorful. I do wish Disney would bring back 3d releases to the U.S. as I'd love to see this in 3d.

Great Marvel flick, it's not Infinity Wars but it's not trying to be. Lots of good laughs and chemistry between Douglas, Rudd and Lily. with a silly villain who knows about the sister states car wash guidelines for undercarriage cleaning. Bought the 4k 58" Samsung from Best Buy too. I bought the TV for RDR2 but the graphics in this movie POP and it's fun seeing the Quantum Realm in 4K and the great Easter Egg (Avengers4 Spoiler ALERT) at the end credits where we know Ant Man is still alive in the Quantum Realm while Pym, Jane and Claire are gone with the snap. Pick up the 4K and watch on a 4K tv for "Maximum Effort" (Wade Wilson).

Marvel delivers again. Such a great cast with great chemistry and writing. I would recommend doing a double feature and watching the first movie back-to-back with this one. As with any movie, there are some things I thought could have been done better, and there were a couple minor gaffs in story/editing, but we watch movies to be entertained and escape our everyday reality. This movie does it. Thumbs up!

Since every other review is plot summary I'll comment on 4K vs blu-ray. The 4K version surpassed the blu-ray in all areas. Details are much stronger especially in the shadows. Looking at the suit Ant-Man wears you can see fine details in the stitching. The Dolby Atmos is the only area where this film does not excel. For some reason Disney seems to struggle with Atmos mixes. There are some really cool effects for example the fluttering of wings and Michael Douglas voice seems to float above you during a monologue. Overall it's worth the extra money if you have a system that will allow you to enjoy the 4k edition.

Loved the movie so of course we want to own it. The video on disc and digital are great, quality-wise. Easy to follow directions to input digital code. Love Ant-Man movies as part of the whole Marvel franchise because he’s funny and doesn’t take himself too seriously. Love Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas. Even Michelle Pfieiffer was great.

I am an avid film collector and have over 1,000 movies on VHS, SVHS, Laser Disc, DVD, BluRay and now UHD BluRay. This latest Ant-Man and the Wasp is well done with enough humor (Michael Pena!) and action to satisfy most anyone. I only buy films I am CERTAIN I will watch more than a couple of times and that's why I bought this one! Highly recommended! Trust me. I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'.
